ok some basic things to know about PBPIng

as soon as i get 6 people i will make a discussion thread, as soon as we have all the characters finished i will make the game thread, in the game thread if you wan't to say anying out of character use [ooc][/ooc]
I like it when people use bold bold when there character is saying something, heres invisible castle http://invisiblecastle.com/ we will roll our dice there and you will provide a link to your roll when making a roll in the PBP,if you have a realy big post to do make it smaller with

and also use spoiler tags when your talking directly to one person for example if your talking to me go
DM

and i will use spoiler's for things like
knowledge arcana Dc 15

and as for help with the pathfinder beta rules don't worry make your character and i'll make sure i give it an extra checking over=)

If alot of people don't have the player's guide i'll just tell you a bit about Riddleport myself:) , or you can have jsut arived and not know much yourself

Ok first things first, this will be the first time i DM a PBP,
but i have dmed before a few times. and atleast i have time to look stuff up in a PBP.

secondly i want to run a nice slow going heavy roleplaying adventure.(which will be second darkness shadow in the sky, for starters)

Thirdly people will need to post atleast 2 times a week.

fourthly You character will need a background and reason why they are in riddleport (I would preffer it if you have the player's guide)

fithly Down to rules, Pathfinder beta rules, 2 traits, Standard Hp's for first level, average hitpoints each level,20 point buy,300 starting gold,
invisible castle for rolls,AND you all get one free skill (4 ranks)in either a craft, a knowledge, a peform, or something that would suit there background you have to ask me if it is something that is not one of the three stated skills,You can play absolutely anything as long as i either have it or you can tell me where to find it on the internet, i will even run an evil group as long as the entire party agrees or your character has a good reason that the group would except her/him.
(oh and i would preffer no drow)

sixthly i am looking for 6 players (i might take eight) if you want to be in and i am all filled up post your email and i will contact you if a spot opens,i don't mind some small player knowledge as long as you keep it very very far away from character knowledge,
(if i get lots of people at roughly the same time i will pick people who are more into Roleplaying then fighting cause i think they will enjoy it more)

Feel free to ask as many questions as you like i'm on my computer quite a lot!

the only thing i would like is to be able to take a leopard as a first level druid animal companion,i'd just reduce the stats significantly?
and call it a younger leopard.

The short answer is yes you do.

Ultimately the campaign traits serve as a way to help players get in both time and character motivation. There is a pretty decent amount of flex in the traits and I'll let you bend them even more. Ultimately, if you can't make one of those work I have to wonder if your character is going to work in the party.

Actually, I'm in ore than one PBP with people from all over the world. It really doesn't slow things down that much if at all. It's one of the cool things about PBP.

Sadly, I do not have a map of Chance made yet. Although I will certainly be working on mapping the Warrens at least. The city itself is just so big that it's difficult to get it all done. So far Docktown and the Warrens are the only areas I even have roughed out.

We have a lot of casters in nightwatch allready so a melee guy would be nice but pick whatever you wan't an entire group of magic peoples could be fun=)

ok i don't know how Template races work in pathfinder=( the half fey for example as i understand i take a level of the race and get no adition to my ac base saves etc but i get special abilities instead, and can i take it at level 1 or not becasue i don't know how that would work

OKay. The Night Watch is going to have a lot of casters :) (Note: I do not consider this a problem.)

Half fey is fine as long as the level adjustment works out.

Awsome now i have seen some Half fey without level adjustment and some with 1 or 2 and i don't have the pathfinder Beastiery so i don't know the pathfinder rules for them so may i use This DND version?

And i also want to play an interesting race and i'm wondering if half fey would be alowable?

i allready have a rough background going aswell=)

Also good role players would be good to spice things up a bit in non-combat situations.

Hello everyone i'm new to PBP, and would be very interested to try it! (as a player)

I am DMing a Second Darkness group At the moment so i wouldn't be able to play in that, But i would be very interested to try one of Paizo's other adventure paths like Curse Of The Crimson Throne or Rise Of The Runelords:)

But i am more than happy to play in a different game!
