Is there a basis for a World Serpent in Golarion? The World Serpent Totem rage powers are from Ultimate Combat but the rules are setting neutral. I can't seem to remember any reference in the Golarion setting. As a follow up question what would make a good basis for the totem powers? Specificly these powers grant bonuses vs. Aberrations and Outsides. Erastil maybe? Old faith ingrained in barbaric people. Thoughts?
Any thought on producing some blank pawns with maybe a coating for dry erase? I only bring it up because no matter how many pawns I get I'll always want to field a few more goblins than I happen to have.
We have a fairly long running gaming group which slowly adds and loses players. Recently, since April, myself and another of the group have been running PFS on weeks when we can't get whole group together for our regular campaign. But as yet we have not been able to convince the others to actually register their character here. I'm not talking about a lot of sessions, 7 I think, and everyone has the Chronicle sheets and keeps coming back for the games but won't register. We don't even play Pathfinder as our regular campaign and still some of these guys have purchased Pathfinder books. So what pitch can I use to get them to register?
I did not receive the Inner Sea Map Folio with my February subscriptions. Including it with next month's subscription will be OK. Ever since I had to suspend most of my subscriptions I have had a little trouble with my monthly shipments including everything. You guys have been great about correcting everything quickly but I was hoping you could take a look at the settings for my subscriptions to see if there some kind of mistake? My tag as a Superscriber is correct if that helps. As always, Thanks!
My Subscriptions Page is acting strangely. Although my list of ongoing subscriptions is correct. The Example Subscription Shipments including January's shipment, which includes several non subscription Pathfinder Campaign Setting items, does not include 'my actual' subscription copy Pathfinder Campaign Setting item. I had a similar problem with my subscription last month and customer service put items in my cart so that I don't miss them. But could someone check the settings of my subscriptions so that my January shipment will match the product schedule? And of course still have all of the items added from order #1571686 less the Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea World Guide (PFRPG) Hardcover, of course. I had the Holiday11 discount on part of order #1571686. To sum up I think that although My Subscriptions show that I am subscribed to Pathfinder Campaign Setting, I did not, in December, nor will I receive any of the items according to My Subscriptions Sample Shipments. I hope this can be corrected. Thanks for your time.
The Inner Sea World Guide is order #1571686, which I hope should be part of an upcoming month's subscription, should this be corrected so that I don't recieve 2 copies? Also My Subscriptions page is behaving oddly, I am subscribed to all of the Pathfinder products but only the Adventure Path, Companion and Tales show up in my Example Subscription Shipments, which wouldn't normally concern me(since it is called an "example" subscription shipment) except that I did not receive the Book of the Damned-Volume 2 with my last subscription shipment(I have since added Book of the Damned-Volume 2 to my Wishlist and will place an order for it in January). Corrections or clarifications would be appreciated, Thanks.
I thought I had been able to use the option to add any non subscription purchase I made to ship with my monthly subscription's shipment. Has this changed or does it have something to do with my recent confusion with my shipment?
I wanted to combine this order with my October subscriptions, normally during the check out process this is an option but this time either it wasn't or I made an incorrect selection. If this order cannot be combined with my october shipment please cancel it for now. Thanks.
I recently changed my address and removed my subscriptions from suspension, but My Subscriptions page is still showing the Adventure Path as suspended. Please un-suspend the Adventure Path also. Thanks,
Please suspend all of my subscriptions until after August 17th. We will be moving and I do not what to have the packages delivered when no one will be there to receive them. At some point between now and August 17th I will update my shipping address. Thank You.
I've renewed all my subscriptions after several months of being forced to miss some of the Pathfinder products. I just wanted to post here since we always see subscriptions being cancelled and some months a whole screen full of "Cancel my Subscription".
How does placing subscriptions on Hold actually work? I beleive I have read that it can only be done for one month at a time? So if I request a hold for my June subs. then will I recieve the June stuff combined with the first of the July subs.? Will the shipping be combined? Any other tips from folks who have actually done this? Thanks.
I have confused myself and I apologize in advance for questioning you guys about this. Earlier this month I canceled all my subscription except the Adventure Path due to lack of expendable income. Then, I guess, a week later I added a Companion subscription back. Then I was looking at the upcoming schedule of releases and noticed the Paizo is getting back on schedule making the Companion and Modules shipping on different months, at least starting in June. So I added the Modules subscription back. I just got the e-mail notice about my shipment this month which includes the Adventure Path and the Module but not the Companion. And looking at My Subscription page and Order History the items look somewhat odd in arrangement. My question, am I now subscribed to the Adventure Path, the Modules, and the Companion; and will I receive all three in my shipment this month?
I would like to see a Companion called Paladins of Golarion. By my count we have at most 9 deities who could support Paladins, and not each of these would definitely do so. If the number of actual Paladin orders is less than 9, such a book could devote 2 pages to each order or orders as some deities might have need for separate orders. I would love to see a Code of Conduct for each different order, with suggested class choices; for example the Paladin of Torag should choose a weapon for Divine Bond since the God of the Forge would be pro weapon, if you take my meaning. If you begin looking at more obscure Deities and the Empyreal Lords, for example the Dwarven deities of which many could support Paladins you will begin to add more and more possible orders, but the Faith section of the Companion could be all about how to work in these more obscure orders based on or attached to the more prominent orders. Paladins could always use a broader spell selection, more specialized for the class instead of mostly leeching cleric spell. Use the Magic section for this. To further distinguish the different orders of Paladins use the Combat section for feats with prerequisites of this or that order. Use the Persona for support NPCs as normal, squires, spiritual advisors, spies, whatever a Paladin needs to do the job. The Social section is all about what Paladins do for fun. Oh and the front and back inside covers could be used to highlight the class much like Dwarves of Golarion did. I am not suggesting the all classes should receive the Companion treatment.
Please cancel all of my subscriptions, EXCEPT for the Pathfinder Adventure Path. I am very happy with all of the products, in fact I beleive the products are improving. I fully intend to resubscribe in the future and purchase all the materials I miss from lack of subscriptions.
I posted during the PRPG beta that a 30' radius spell template should be produced for the new Channel Energy ability. There was some interest and Lisa Stevens said something like 'good idea'. Does anyone know if more GameMastery Spell Templates are going to be made and if so would the idea of a 30' radius spell template be practical.
I have recently changed computers, the old one is fried. Now I cannot open any of my PDFs using Adobe Acrobat 9.2. I have Vista Home Premium on this new machine, is that the problem? I am in the middle of converting my gaming group (6 guys) to PRPG and the ability to easily share information about the campaign world (Golarion) is really helping. Any help would be helpful.
Making any headway on setting up Wishlists? I keep the items I might purchase in my Shopping Cart, but I always seem to forget to add a few back in when I place an order. And sometimes people actually us Wishlists to purchase gifts whcih could bring more traffic to the site.
"Damage: You can inflict damage to your target equal to your unarmed strike, a natural attack, or an attack made with armor spikes or a light or one-handed weapon. This damage can be either lethal or nonlethal." Should one-handed weapon be included on this list? Should armor spikes or a light or one-handed weapon deal damage included in "This damage can be either lethal or nonlethal."
How much weight can be supproted by the:
Could each item have a base wieght it can support and then a break DC for each round it supports too mcuh weight with the break DC lowering based on multiples of the base wieght?
Catch Off-Guard (Combat)
Benefit: You do not suffer any penalties for using an improvised melee weapon. Unarmed opponents are flat-footed against any attacks you make with an improvised melee weapon. Normal: You take a –4 penalty on attack rolls made with an improvised weapon. Does the "Unarmed opponents are flat-footed against any attacks you make with an improvised melee weapon." not make this feat too powerful?
Ride by Attack
Does Ride by Attack grant the special ability to ride through the target of the charge? "you may move and attack as if with a standard charge and then move again (continuing the straight line of the charge)" which would by definition be through the target?
While using the Improved Overrun feat the target of your Overrun attempt may not avoid you. My question is, what if you want to let the target avoid you and continue your movement then take a Standard action after the movement. From the Overrun text: "When you attempt to overrun a target, it can choose to avoid you, allowing you to pass through its square without requiring an attack." I am intrepreting "without requiring an attack" to mean that you do not use the Standard action that would normally be required by the Overrun attempt, leaving you with that Standard action to use later in the round. While I've got your attention, if using Overrun as part of a charge you perform the Overrun during the movement part of the charge, so does the movement continue(in a straight line of course) to a maximum of double your move as in a normal charge just with no attack at the end? If the target of the Overrun avoids you could you not then continue to Charge until you reached a viable target? or ran out of movement? And a broader question, although I cannot recall the specific ability right now, but can you choose not to use feats etc., in most cases?
Could someone point me to the Council of Thieves Gamemaster's Guide PDF? It is mentioned on page 10 of The Bastards of Erebus along with the Council of Thieves Player's Guide, which I found easily enough. Thanks
Protective Ward (Su): As a standard action, you can create a 10-foot-radius field of protective magic centered on you that lasts for a number of rounds equal to your Intelligence modifier. All allies in this area (including you) receive a +1 deflection bonus to their AC for 1 round. So is the duration equal to your Intelligence modifier or is it 1 round? Or something else?
Deliver Touch Spells (Su): If the master is 3rd level or higher, a familiar can deliver touch spells for him. If the master and the familiar are in contact at the time the master casts a touch spell, he can designate his familiar as the “toucher.” The familiar can then deliver the touch spell just as the master would. As usual, if the master casts another spell before the touch is delivered, the touch spell dissipates. I would like to interpert "The familiar can then deliver the touch spell just as the master would" as allowing the familiar to threaten adjacent squares with the touch spell as the caster would, since the caster would be considered armed if he had the spell on himself. Most importantly this would allow the Tiny creature to attack with the touch spell without provoking an AoO as a tiny creature with 0 reach normally would.
"Starting at 3rd level, you gain a +1 luck bonus on all of your saving throws and to your AC during surprise rounds (see Combat) and when you are otherwise unaware of an attack." What would be the examples of "when you are otherwise unaware of an attack"? Versus an invisible attacker, what else??
Aura of Justice (Su): Allies must use this smite evil ability by the start of the paladin's next turn and the bonuses last for 1 minute. So if the allies can't use the Smite evil by the start of the Paladin's next turn the effect ends? Or does the effect last 1 minute? Or should the ability read something like 'Allies must use this smite evil ability by the start of the paladin's next turn and IF SO the bonuses last for 1 minute.'
