1) I do plan to convert.
2) I will continue with my Pathfinder subscription gladly
3) I will likely have to cancel my subscription
Most of what I buy in the RPG world is a very case-by-case basis. It's a good sign from me when I actually commit to a subscription.

Edit: Upon watching the trailer, I'm going to go with the fleshing out part, seeing as Dooku and Grevious are in it.
I too did not win

Yeah.
So, it appears that our merciless SCAP campaign is about to wrap up at Lisa's place, and we'll soon be starting the RotR adventure path. Last night I rolled up a new character, hoping that I could run a nice sorcerer, and here's what I rolled:
14
13
10
9
9
8
I do believe by core that that would be a re-roll
In a positive light, I still like the cell animation. Hate the CG.
Well drat, I found I'm horrible at scaling buildings on maps to dimensions in feet.

I've actually been having the urge to make a diorama and I'm just not the most creative when it comes to converting and picking out things like furniture, etc.
Has anyone tried drawing up scale floor plans for the any of the buildings in Sandpoint using the map of Sandpoint in Burnt Offerings?
MrFish wrote: Andrew Betts: how do you deal with the dragonnel mount when it comes to dungeoning and stuff? Just leave it with the other mounts or what? The pc in my game that has the meta-breath power has said that it is a handy ranged weapon he can use—have you not found that?
The one dungeon we've entered, I was sadly without my mount. I felt like half a half-dragon. As for the meta-breath feats, for my character as handy as it might be, a feat for an ability that can only be used once/day isn't a viable trade off for some of my other feats.
Things that suck -- realizing you have to wait until September 2 for the release of Blackstaff Tower :-/ Steven mentioned a couple of months ago that he finished it and now there's the waiting, gah.
MrFish wrote: Are any players/gms using elements of the draconomicon, specifically with regard to having dragons involved with a party? If so how is that going, and what is fun/challenging/sucky about that? What kind of dragons or dragon related characters are used? Are the dragon-specific feats made use of at all? I am currently in a game where I'm in transformation to half-dragon. I have the Dragonrider prestige class and currently have a Dragonel Mount which will become a gold dragon around 13th level. The mount has caused the GM some grief when he forgets about things like .... flying. But it has saved our butts a couple of times (I'm talking to you Advanced Grell that killed two party members). As for dragon specific feats, I have none. Only having a breath weapon once/day makes the meta-breath feats useless to me. We'll see how things go in the future.
I have a 10th Level Paladin/Dragonrider/Vassal of Bahamut. My current magic items is a +1 Dragonbane Greater Swordbow (+8 Str) a +2 Cloak of Charisma, +2 Gauntlets of Strength and a couple of items that I haven't used but were treasure in a Dragon Hoard.
*fingers crossed* :-)

Andrew No, it is an alternative choice from the 4th level druid list (treat as -3 levels for companion abilities). Oops, Ok, my bad. Thanks.

Andrew
I wouldn't mind knowing this either.
I had an irriating bard ... he cast Tasha's Hideous Laughter and she failed her save. She fell into the fountain, and failed a fort save against drowning and it went downhill from there. They got off easy, although I did get to shatter the Dwarf's Urgosh
In my first real game that I got to play in I was a Human Sorceror. My girlfriend (now wife) was a Half-Elf Cleric/Rogue and had a Feral Halfling Barbarian/Champion of (whatever the funky name from the BoED). The Halfling's Int was 6.
We were trying to discuss how to handle a situation. We had an idea and my wife pipes up with "On Second thought, I think ..." and the Halfling interjects "Wait, second thought? You mean you get two?"
Needless to say we didn't stop laughing for a while before we continued the session.
I loved WEG Star Wars, I only ever had 2 books, maybe 3, but I believe it's the most fun I've ever had in any RPG.
As a point, I really hate these video answers. 75% of the time I'm on computers without sound. Bleck
Probably - but I reserve any decisions until I see the books
I liked the movie. I liked the standard cell animation, although the CG looked pretty bad. If they go on to complete the series I hope they will either do better with the CG or cut it back to standard cell animation.
Short jokes are my friend, I'm over a foot taller than my my wife and 6-8 inches taller than most of my friends :-D
I'm all in favor of the battlemaps, it takes me too long to draw out the maps. My group is just finishing up Burnt Offerings and then having a 6 week break, maybe I'll have time to make something faster, but I don't see it happening.
So maps = boo yah
I just finished a short story called "Concerning a Gambit of Fraternity" by Steve Schend. It's in a book called Fellowship Fantastic. Horrible cover, looks to be a good book. Steve mentioned it in class a few weeks ago and I saw it and picked it up.
I'm also currently reading Shadow Masks by Paul Kemp which will be followed up by either Proven Guilty or Academ's Fury - both by Jim Butcher.
Funny enough, my Paizo name is my name ... that was pretty easy. The name I usually is AndrewD2 and that comes from my friends dad back when I was in High School. My friend and I are big Star Wars nuts and one day his dad walked into church, saw me and said "Hey it's AndrewD2 of the Rebellion" and it's stuck ever since.
If I remember my LoSH history correctly. Triplicate Girl was actually three duplications from the same person, not really a clone, made from the original (whose name is escaping me right now). When an alien race came to their planet (which was populated by duplicates) three of them chose to explore the galaxy with these aliens. When they returned they were shunned by all the other duplicates and formed themself into one and left the planet.
Mine says 5 ships in January
I'd be interested as well if you're still sending them out.

And I am definitely in minority when I say avoid the Salvatore stuff, I've only ever been able to complete two books by him and they were both Star Wars books. I just can't stand his writing (or Driz'zt), but I digress Steve's book is great and Blackstaff Tower can't be too terribly far behind. I agree that Blackstaff is great, but unless you know about Khelben and all of the loose ends from a lot of the 2nd edition days, you loose a lot of the impact of the book. Its sort of a "preaching to the choir" sort of book, in that if you aren't familiar with the Realms, you really aren't going to get what is going one much at all in it.
It was either for the first or second Realms book for me, the other being Elminster: Making of a Mage and I still don't know much about Khelben from 2nd Ed, heh.

Why is it I feel a movie with great potential is already on the road to ruin.
well the company is at www.bc-products.com but sadly tact-tiles have been sold out for quite a while. They're having supplier problems. They are quite nice, I bought some for one of my GMs almost 4 years ago now.
Edit - maybe I should have read the entirety of the last post :-/
Maybe they juggle our packages. My envelope with Pathfinder #1 was nearly folded to fit in a small apartment mailbox. I've got a small crease going down the back cover, a dinged corner and a dent throughout the issue. At least it's still a good read.
I do not believe you get the free PDF if you just order the module. I bought D1 and did not get a free PDF with it.

My local printers can only do up to a certain size print on heavy stock paper, so I would like to find something that I can use to split a large map into smaller pieces. Thanks for any info.

I use PhotoShop, but you can also use a program called "The GIMP" which is a free photoshop like program, although I do think it has a steeper learning curve.
My best friend swears by Air Elemental Savant. I wasn't in the game but he apparently gave the GM a load of fun.
I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Hi-Res versions of the maps made available.
I saw it yesterday, found both episodes extremely amusing.

(Medium Human Skeletons) This is actually deliberate. We are telling you to use the stat blocks for human warrior skeletons on that page of the MM. It's just a clarification, since there aren't any dwarf skeletons in the MM. I noticed that after I said it, I'd never really looked at skeletons before so I looked it up after talking to a couple of people and learned my mistake. You live, you learn.

I loved Bart in the Teen Titans, but it seemed to me when he got his own series his entire personality up and disappeared. I didn't want to see him dead, but I did want to see major changes.
Was kinda sad. Me, my wife, and roomate all drove for about an hour and a half to the nearest "Free RPG Day" store, but they didn't have anything by the time we got there (a little over an hour before they closed).
I agree, they look great. Can't wait to get my hands on the module Saturday.
I know I would love to see any of the material.
