I just got my Kindle and would LOVE to have a more Kindle-friendly format to read the books I'm getting through my Pathfinder Tales subscription. :)
The ePub version converts easily to the Kindle
You my have to look at archetypes since Paizo has pretty much said they want to stop with base classes after the Magus.
I just ordered "The Witchwar Legacy" and was hoping to ship with my next subscription shipment, which I understand should start this next week. But I believe since my account has already been authorized it went to my October shipment. Would it be possible to get it moved to the September order (assuming the label hasn't already printed and such)?
Thanks a lot Cosmo.
Andrew
well remember tomes and manuals only go up to +5 and you can only use 1 per ability score, well you can use more, but they don't stack, they overlap until you hit the +5.

A pair of Queries:
Does the spell Magic Weapon work on Magic Weapons? It says it does not stack with Masterwork Bonuses but it doesn't say it doesn't stack with bonuses from a weapon that is a Magic Weapon.
Secondly, can a Wizard use 2 wands at once if he has the Two Weapon Fighting Feat?
Thanks in advance,
HH
Same bonuses never stack. Magic Weapon gives an enhancement bonus which is the same type of bonus that Magic Weapons have. The bonuses would overlap with the higher one taking effect.
Wands require at least a standard action to activate, not an attack action, there for you cannot full attack with wands.
Um, check the current store blog
I'd go with Garmin, if you really want to surprise her you can record your voice using the computer program that can be downloaded from Garmin so you can tell her where to go.
Also, just make sure after having one she doesn't start constantly relying on it, a friend of mine has been driving to our GMs house for over a year now and cannot get there with the GPS ... its almost a straight shot with about 3 turns total. Drives me nuts. . .alright end rant.
Check out Complete Mage I believe

I have looked in both erratas and still have not found an answer to this. On a side note, I am confused now about the companion's increase. Is it you can increase STR&DEX by +1 (at level 4) AND any ability by +1? OR is it STR&DEX by +1 OR any ability by +2? (Basically get two ability score increases to spread however wanted.)
Never played the old rules, Pathfinder is the only game I know.
If this is answered in another post, sorry for the confusion, I have marked this for FAQ. Every 4 levels (4,8,12,16,20) you add +1 and any ability score. This can cause you to gain no skill points (if your int modifier goes up as a result), increase saves (if Dex, Wis, or Con modifiers go up) Melee attack and carrying capacity (if Str goes up), AC and ranged attack (if dex goes up). Basically just like if you used a spell that would increase your ability score, except these are permanent.
cyrusduane wrote: Actually, if they gave us subscriber's the PDF for free, it would prevent me from canceling my sub in the next few months.
Why does it never list all my subscriptions next to me name, anyway?
Well I see that you have the Pathfinder Superscriber tag which means AP, Campaign Setting, Player Companion, Modules, and I believe the RPG and Tales subs and then you have the Gamemastery maps sub, which subs are missing?

part of me hopes the band breaks up rather than continue without portnoy.
I don't see that happening, since part of the reason was he asked or a break and they said no that they were going to keep going.
I saw it a couple days ago, I cried.
I recommend ESET NOD 32, right around $50 for a 2 years subscription
Tim Statler wrote: Under the Wizard abilities on Cantrips it says that a wizard gets all 0 lvl spells except those of their opposition schools.
Does this apply to the 0 level spells in the APG also?
I would think it would, but wanted to make sure.
That's up to the GM as the APG is optional material. If I was running and allowing the complete APG I would say yes its included. If I was only allowing parts of it, I'd think about it, check the spells, maybe allow them all to be free or still require the research of them.
They've said in other places that they have no way to restore the information. It was actually recommended to check to see if Google archived a copy and has worked for at least one other person, but if yours is there I've been unable to locate it.
"Although the alchemist doesn’t actually cast spells, he does have a formulae list that determines what extracts he can create. An alchemist can utilize spell-trigger items if the spell appears on his formulae list, but not spell-completion items (unless he uses Use Magic Device to do so)."
Wands and staves yes, scrolls require the UMD check
While not my printer, its what I use. My parents have a Brother printer and I convinced them to get a CISS because they kept going through ink so fast (my mom prints around 500 pages a week minimum for work, when she's home). Its invaluable. In the 6 months or so that they've had it I've already had to pick up a refill kit and are completely out of black for that already, but I absolutely love it.

Mwangi I could see, but I'm pretty sure it's a no on anything Alkenstar really
I'm hoping for a high res PDF to be available for purchase. I have access to a large scale vinyl printer (one that makes big banners for store sales, etc) and was hoping to get it printed out in a non-rippable form.
Congratulations and it appears my prediction of continuity lawyer was correct.

The soaps been around for a couple years, just new ones now

I don't think it can be done based on THIS POST bye Vic recently.
Kalyth wrote: I was just wondering if reprints of the APG will have actually corrections and errata included?
The APG is ripe with typographical errors, broken mechanics, abilities that dont function as written, etc...
I love all the options and content of the APG I just hope that in the future I can purchase and "edited/errata'd" copy of it.
Every book in the RPG line thus far that has been reprinted has had the errata updated in it.
I converted it for the Kindle tonight, works great.
ePub version has been converted and works on the Kindle!
Artwork that has been on the blog is eligible for CUP stuff, but you might want to read the Community Use Policy just to make sure what you can do with it.
Kalyth wrote: Addition Oracle of Life question
It lists Cure Critical Wounds, Mass as the 8th level bonus spell. But Oracles can automatically add the Cure spells to their list of known spells. Is this a typo? or does the Life Oracle just get hosed if he chooses to add all the cure spells to his spell list?
This usually means they get the spells without having to spend their normal spells known on them.
I like them

I believe so, but I know there are eidolon only healing spells on the Summoner's list.

I'm not 100%, but I'm reasonably sure that you can put your map back up as there is now the untagged map on the blog. Hopefully James will come by to yay or nay it.
Like its feats and level based ability increases and skills, etc the base form is set at level 1

Thanks! If I recall correctly the CS has half a page entry on each of the deities. G&M has multiple pages for each (4 I believe). Currently the only thing with more info for any deities is the articles in the APs. Hahaha that has to win for longest response time EVAR !! Odd, I didn't look at the time, but I was looking at what the page was saying was the newest post when I posted that, there was some weird segmentation in the boards, I saw the G&M thread up there twice after I posted.

If the items are in your sidecart, you can go into your account and click "ship items now" and you should be set. As for the credit card policy it's the policy of the credit card companies so you really should take that up with them.
Apple needs to fix it. If they software they use is incomplete it is their fault. That's all the further I will say on the matter.

I was hoping that with 6 months of notice a PDF Subscription could be introduced by Feb but Paizo's stance seems correct.
I guess, come Feb, I'll cancel my subscriptions and purchase PDFs.
Of course, I've got 6 months to change my mind.
I'm not sure how much our shipping costs, but with the 15% discount you get on the print edition it makes it the same price as the PDF and that 15% extends to almost everything else purchased here, including other subscriptions.
After shipping, for less than $20 I get about $34 worth of products just for the AP sub alone.
I think you just need to click the ship now button by your sidecart.
MisterSlanky wrote: Philip Dhollander wrote: When I want to print the APG say, it takes half an hour to 'flatten' the document and only then does it start printing. This is (according to some It guys I consulted) due to the different layers of the document (text, images, ... all in seperate layers) Ditto on this. It takes (and this is no joke) two HOURS to print the four pages of Pregens for Pathfinder Society as it goes from my computer to my (admittedly older) printer.
I love having my awesome PDFs, but Paizo really needs to step up in the "ease of use" department.
... wow, I printed 4 copies of the SS Players Guide and the KM Players Guide, plus the entirety of Hell's Pawns on a full color ink jet printer and it only took about 45 minutes. Now it was 2 pages per sheet, but still, it shouldn't take a horribly long time.
hogarth wrote: So how much Strength does Superman have? (Assuming they still use an M&M-style Strength score.) Superman has a Strength of 19. M&M 3E uses just the bonus like True 20 so I believe it would be like a 48 in most D20 systems.
Rite Publishing wrote: Its a carry over from the Arcana Evolved conversion which uses d6 and medium save bonuses, if I was doing errata right now I would give it D8 and low save bonus.
This is why you don't let the guy with AE on his brain do the conversion (my home game is a AE/BoXM/Pathfinder Hybrid) I am much better at doing a ground up design for Pathfinder hence why Kusa was handled by someone else. And I promise never to attempt a conversion again.
Groovy, easy enough to modify if used, and if you ever update the PDF on here it'll be perfect. No rush (for me at least) just wanted to check and see.
It gotta be online, but I've found the PDF viewer built into Google Docs to be the fastest ever, once the PDF loads which can take a bit, but I've been so happy with it I actually paid $5 to get more storage space and have all my PF PDFs up there for my reference, and it doesn't matter what computer I'm on as long as I can access my account. No more lost thumb drives ...
Matthew Morris wrote: How compatible is it with previous generations?
I have the M&M Wild Cards book (as a 'bible').
Can I run Black Shadow vs Green Lantern? Perigrin vs Hawkgril? Radical vs Superman? Yeoman vs Green Arrow? The Great and Powerful Turtle vs Steel? Kid Dinosaur vs Beast Boy? Fortunato vs Felix Faust?
I'm not the most experienced with the system, but I'm pretty sure all the tweaking is pretty minor, like converting 3.5 to PRPG

Goodreader is more reliable, but there are apparently serious issues with any reader not made by Adobe. This could be part of Apple's criticism of them, could just be a limitation of e-readers.
Ogre said he has no problems with his Mac, so there may be a dividing line on apple products and font issues. The issue isn't with non-adobe readers, its specifically that most readers have not updated a specific library (its been available for a couple years now). At one point Apple had worked it into Preview from what I'd heard, but then when they rolled another change later they took it out.
I've gotten to read through it and its absolutely rockin'.
