HISTORY
Anala was born to wealthy padaprajna parents on the Isle of Jalmeray. When she was five, she was sent to study at the Monastery of Unblinking Flame. While she was there (in her 10th year of training), her family was murdered by a rival and she was not informed. Upon completing her beginners training at age 20, she was informed of her parents deaths and although she showed no emotion at the revelation, she quickly packed her meager belongings and forsook her Island home, travelling to the grand city of Absalom.
After meeting with students of her former Monastery, she was introduced to a Master who had become a recruiter for the Pathfinder Society. He saw in her a chance to leave her past behind her and inducted her into the Group. Her first assignment is to Katapesh, where she has been instructed to explore the ruins of Kelmarane. The Society has heard rumours of ancient structures buried beneath the sands and wishes more information on the area.
DESCRIPTION
While Anala would not be considered attractive, she is far from plain with a lithe figure honed by years of practice.
She has the light brown skin, favoured by her people and a straight reddish brown hair which is uncommon. She wears her hair long, down to the top of her bottom. She usually wears it loose, unless she knows she is going into battle, in which case she quickly ties it into a loose knot.
Her eyes are brown, flecked with red and she has a small red gold stud in her right nostril.
She is dressed in simple clothes of bright orange, cut to allow ease of movement. These include a loose fitting shirt and pants and open strapped sandals which wrap up to mid thigh.
She carries a battered pack and a strange double bladed knife can be seen at her left hip, her only visible weapon.
She is very impersonal in her bearing. She speaks her mind and most people can be put off by this. She does acknowledge friendship and is a little more personable with those she considers friends however.
