About Althesia

"All good things."-Althesia

Althesia
Female Elven Rogue 1
Chaotic Good Medium Humanoid

Behavior:

Althesia always wields her shortbow when she is not in the lead. When scouting or using Stealth, she always wields a dagger. On the first round of combat, if she is within 30ft, she throws the dagger/attacks with her bow at someone who has not acted yet. (surprise round is lovely)

The following round, she drops her bow as a free action and draws her rapier. She normally tries to move to some flanking position. If this is not possible (nothing to flank), or if there are enemies still flatfooted by some means, she sticks to her shortbow/draws her shortbow and attacks.

When not in combat, Althesia is always cautious, if not paranoid of attack. Perception checks whenever she enters rooms. She gets sarcastic and edgy whenever she is unsure of her situation. And, well I haven't developed her far enough for more.

Description:

You spy a female elf stalking the shadows, watching the guard rotation with some intent. You approach her, sword drawn, ready to strike her down as she stands, but she notices you. A moment and a flash of silvery hair later, a weighted sap digs into your chin. Stars quickly follow, and as you black out, the elf grins at you almost, apologetically.

Background:

They found her as a child, walking the dangerous paths of the Woods with nothing but a dreamy smile on her face. The weathered lumberjack who took her in against all advice always had a smile on his face whenever he recounted that story. It seemed so long ago, and yet the elven child he had found decades ago had only just come of age.

But even with her aging guardian, it was a hard life. The longstanding prejudice of elves in Darkmoon Vale had forced her to take the most unwanted jobs in Falcon's Hollow, but she persevered, if only to make ends meet. And when her guardian had to retire, well thievery did pay out more.

But now the taint had come to Falcon's Hollow. A few dozen were afflicted with it, as the rumors say, but one thing she did know was that her guardian was one of them. Leaving her guardian in more capable hands then hers, she joined a group that went to search for a cure before it's too late.
