Alexandu had a tough start to his life, as his mother suffered from post-partum stress and claimed to have been raped by a fiend. For this reason she refused to raise him and left him to an orphanage. He was apprenticed to a scholar and brought along as a porter on what was supposed to be a routine expedition to some orcish ruins. Alas, disaster struck and the entire expedition was obliterated by a passing orc raiding party. Left for dead Alex was the only survivor. Alone and destitute he managed to find shelter and solace in the temple of Calistria, where he honed his skills to take revenge on those who had wronged him (meaning the world in general).
In spite of everything Alex has a strong moral compass and has dedicated his life to fighting evil. The worrying rumors of the blot brought him to Riddleport and he associated himself with a band of adventurers, trying to find out more.
