Rage Chemist:

Rage Mutagen: At 2nd level, whenever a ragechemist creates a mutagen that improves his Strength, that mutagen grants the rage chemist a +6 bonus to Strength, a +2 bonus to natural armor, and a –2 penalty to Intelligence. Furthermore, while under the effects of this mutagen, whenever the alchemist takes damage, his rage grows, with detrimental effects. At the end of each turn that he takes hit point damage, the ragechemist must succeed at a Will saving throw (DC 15, or DC 20 if any of the damage came from a critical hit that turn) or take a –2 penalty on Will saving throws and to Intelligence. These penalties end 1 hour after the mutagen ends and stack with themselves. If the penalty lowers the ragechemist's Intelligence score to 0, the ragechemist is comatose until 1 hour after the mutagen expires. This ability replaces poison use.

Two-Handed Fighter:

Shattering Strike (Ex): At 2nd level, a two-handed fighter gains a +1 bonus to CMB and CMD on sunder attempts and on damage rolls made against objects. These bonuses increase by +1 for every four levels beyond 2nd. This ability replaces bravery.

Background Story:
Alestar does not remember much of his early childhood. He was raised in a foundlingry located in the small city of Carpenden in Andoran. He was delivered to them and added to the books of foundlings and like all foundlings was given the last name "Bookchild". Like all foundlings he was given a basic education and trained in a number of skills and tested to see at which skills they excel in order to place them in an appropriate profession when tafter graduation at the age of 18-20. Alestar excelled in his book studies and all the teachers loved him because he was obviously intellectually gifted.

When the lessons of the day were over, and the chores were all completed, most of the children would play or rest. Alestar would always pay a visit to the foundlingry's dispensurist. He began to refer to the old Tian chemist (nicknamed "Brom" by the locals that could not pronounce his real name) as his "Uncle" and although his Uncle never taught him the ways of alchemy, Alestar watched intently as Uncle would fill the scripts and administer the medicines for the occupants and administrators of the orphanage.

The administers of the orphanage were monitoring Alestars progress and decided to train him as a factor for a bank. Until one day during Escalade Evolutions (training in stick fighting). Alestar broke the nose of his sparring partner with an off hand parry. Not usually the type of damage one would expect from a defensive maneuver. They began to monitor the boys physical prowess and took notice that he had extraordinary strength. On one summer morning when everyone was working in the main grounds, Alestar saved one of his fellow foundlings by catching a barrel full of lamp oil as it was rolling off the tail-gate of a wagon. Afterwards the footmen reported to the administrators that it took two men to roll the heavy barrel of oil into the store room, and there was no way a boy could lift it, much less catch one.

The administrators decided that Alestar would be groomed for the military, and revamped his training regiment. But on the day that Alestar was to graduate and his squad leader came to collect him. He was gone. He had apparently ransacked the dispensurists stores, stolen some basic provisions from the larder and store rooms and fled.

The officer was furious and claimed that the boy would be pursued, arrested and tried for desertion and anyone trying to help him would be charged in aiding and abetting.

Further down the rabbit hole...:
What Alestar does not know is that his parents did not abandon him as a child. His folks were wealthy wine merchants of Chelaxian descent. The Taxillian Family that lived in an estate located outside of Carpenden. His parents became very wealthy as they partnered with House Vaylen the Andoran noble merchant family that were responsible for the expeditions to the rich and far flung Arcadia. It was discovered after Alestars birth that his parents were dealing in the slave trade through contacts in Isger and smuggling Arcadian artifacts pilfered from the Arcadian expeditions through channels with the Dark Sisters back to the Cheliaxian Homeland.

After gathering some evidence of their thefts and illegal trade business, Carpenden dispatched a squad of Steel Falcons to apprehend them, but when they reached the estate it was vacant. Inside they found further evidence of diabolism and human sacrifice. The Falcons tracked their progress towards Isger and was able to cut them off. Forcing them to travel eastwards along the foothills of The Five Kings Mountains the Falcons finally caught up to them as they crossed over the border to Galt and were apprehended by Grey Wardens.

The Falcons asked the Wardens to hand them over, but the leader, a forceful and insistant man, requested to hear the charges against them. The Grey Warden after hearing their crimes and mad with the perversion of the Galt's ideal of justice executed both his parents on the spot, caving their skulls in with a heavy steel mace. The Steel Falcons admonished the Warden for what he had done. The Warden was not remorseful for his actions but conemplated what he had done. Handing the child (Alestar) back to the Falcons, the Grey Warden said... "If the ghosts of this childs parents haunt him or if he ever wishes to seek justice for what was done here...tell him to come find me...and handed his mace to the Steel Falcons squad leader.

The Steel Falcons returned to Capendem and handed Alestar over to the Foundlingry. The story was told to only the top administrators. They agreed not to tell Alestar the truth...except for one...Brom the Tian Dispensurist, who had kept the mace the Grey warden used to slay his parents. Brom intended to tell Alestar on his graduation day the truth about his origins.

Further still...DM only!!!:
Unknown to the rest of the party. Alestar is actually a Twilight Talon of Andoran. Because of his strength, intelligence and skills, he was trained as a Sapper. His evolutions teacher at the foundlingry saw his potential from the get go. The teacher made contact with his former commanding officer, a retired Twilight Talon, and recommended Alestar. The last year at the foundlingry, Alestar was receiving special training from his fighting teacher in the wee hours of the night in the art of infiltration, intelligence gathering and sabotage.

The robbery and desertion story was corroberated so that none would try to follow or find him for fear of being charged with aiding and abetting a fugitive. This also provides his cover for foriegn operations. Frequently Alestar may be detained for questioning by traveling Steel Falcons in order to pass along messages or in extreme circumstance take him under custody as a criminal if fear of his identity may be revealled or the mission becomes too dangerous.
