Grand, just grand you honeyed tongued gypsy. Here we are in the middle of nowhere in the dead of the night and your're trying to push goods I'd have difficulty in moving. *sighs* Alright 3:2 for the prisoners, 50% for the trade goods but I'm willing 40% for the armour and arms. I'm no arms dealer, and that's as high I am willing to go, see?

Will check up on your potions later. So far the arms and armor aren't magical.

Ninja'd, awkward typing on hp, will get back later.

Ha! That's what I would like to hear! She's all yours complete with saddle for the reasonable price of 80 gold pieces. Deal? Don't fret 'bout paying now if you're short. I'll credit your pay once this is over.

Dieredon:
The horse is a light horse, with a riding saddle. No tricks learnt yet. Do give her a name.

Aleph's providing free transport for the captured prisoners until reaching Deeptown where he'll use his head hunting permit to cash in. As he offered a 2:1 ratio on the bounty he'll add it on to the final payout on a successful trade run.

Aleph's offer on the trade goods stands at 60 gp for the lot.

As for the arms, if any party members don't have any claims to the loot then Aleph's willing to take it off wholesale at 20% market rate, although he's not wanting to buy any broken items offered. Selling used armaments is never easy.

I'm sure a heavier purse at the end of the day would stay your hand if like minded opportunity presents itself again eh, Northlander?

Looking at the broadly smiling elf, Aleph smiles even broader in return. Mind, did check the note under saddle of the prize horse you've ridden on? Lucky for you I'm not aversed to trading before reaching our destination.

Dieredon:
Lifting up the saddle reveals a general note stating "Contact dealer for assistance, unauthorized mounting results in goods sold as is for 80 gold pieces."

Experience will be granted once you've reached Deeptown.

GM:
Aleph Appraise: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25

Aleph hmms and cocks his head a few times. After hearing Rianna's tally of the goods found he starts a beginning offer.

I'll buy off the salt, wines , silk, and flour for 60 gold pieces? I'm not really into arms dealing but decide what you'd like to keep and I'll take the rest at fair price. You could keep all that concoctions you've picked up as well a that pretty pearl there. Careful with that locked box there, especially on how to get it open. That's 20% of market value for the arms you've decided to part off.

Answering Rianna, Well, since you'd need a permit for head hunting which luckily I have, we'd split the rewards 2:1? The going rate per body's seasonal, I'd incorporate the proceedings on completion of your contract. Deal?

Skane:
Yes, he's a xbowman. Your observations are spot on. That's 8 live 'uns.

I'm sure we would. Aleph smiles broadly. Your jaunt did break some of the stipulated contract we agreed earlier. I'd just have to see what you've managed to haul back. Then we'll talk, see?. You could borrow one of the emptier carriages. Talk to Ghafar, he'll manage it.

Well, you've got a vehicle to transport the goods in one or two trips. Aleph is eager to see what you've bought back.

After a few knocks on the employer's carriage, Aleph steps out, wearing a loose robe and a night cap. It seems he has not turned in yet. Seeing the hired muscle, he raises an eyebrow. I heard some scuffling about earlier on. Well, explain what you've been up to?

Beats me, I wouldn't know how to lay a brick if it saved my life! And you don't know anybody who does too, heh. Figures.

Tell you what, I'm going to have a chat with these fellows, we'll see what we'll get.

Ghafur trudges to the first caravan and mans it, bringing it forward, followed by Aleph in the second and the third with the remaining guardsmen and prisoners.

Aleph looks up at the group "What's the holdup?

A campsite up ahead you say? Well, I'd say we, I mean you, should scout on ahead and see whats it all about. Leave a couple behind, the rest should go on ahead.

Sorry ladies, much as I'd like to enjoy your company, I need you to keep an eye out for the prisoner back there. I need him in one piece, not in pieces , see? If everyone's ready, let's be off.

Ghafar handles the reins of the middle caravan, Aleph sits beside. Both of them seem to be armored for this phase of the journey.

'Morning, ate well? You'll need the energy. Good job on getting those two. *points to the two men* Always a waste when you send them six feet under. Anyway, I'd expect we'd reach Deeptown coming morning, but this stretch is the hairiest yet. I want the prisoners seperated in the first and second carriage. One in front and one behind mine. I'll have Ghafar with me. Divide yourselves between the two crriages though I'd think the Bramble Knight would prefer to ride herself.

Ghafar's almost done, best if you'd all get ready.

Oi!! Careful when you're chucking spells about Ei!.
At least you're reassured the paymaster is still safe.

RetroconnDieredon
Ei! What do I look like? A bartender? Hmm?. If you want some, gotta buy the whole cask see? I'm not going to break the cask seal just some hireling thinks its dandy to get a sip just because its there eh? Furthermore, if I ever find you drunk on duty, then watch out! Hmmmph. Oh, and we have enough to eat thanks, I don't need people felling stags around whenever they feel like it. See if the druids approve.

*SLAM*

Perception DC15:
Durned rich kids! Think they own the world.

Aleph burst a tirade before disappearing in his caravan.

You're riding shotgun on the caravans, getting extra for being driver too. Hence on foot.

*caravan doors open and Aleph sticks his head out*
Oi! Finish up and stuff up. I can't sleep with all this yapping about. Ghafar! Make sure that the snorers stay far away from my caravan see?

*notices the wolf and her rider*

I've heard of you before..the Bramble Knight yes? If you're interested in escorting us safely to Deeptown I'd be grateful for the service. I'd assume you'd ride on the wolf? I'll have Ghafar handle the details if you'd talk to him.

Off to bed, no ruckus tonight see?

We will make a stop here tonight. Bless me for my aching back. Help yourself to the food, part of the contract see? I'm off to bed. You shouldn't though, I wouldn't want to wake up with a dagger to my throat, not in these parts see? Ask my manservant if there's anything to ask.

The caravan master points to a dark, short man who looks busy preparing the night's meal.

As almost on cue, Me, Ghafar. Me help cook and clean. Want to eat? He continues stirring the pot, not lifting his head as the smell of soup wafts in the air.
