Sovereign Court

I was one of the Andoran players that OP mentioned. My character's alignment is Neutral Good, and she has a few titles such as Knight Corporal.

As my Silver Crusade party members stated, attacking a surrendered enemy is not an honorable act, it's against my character's beliefs. So we agreed on sending Vruul to Andoran and let authorities judge him and do whatever they want.

I know in Golarion, things aren't black and white and they might be changed, even though I chose Andoran due to my character's background. I just don't want conflicting faction missions in Pathfinder. Yes, roleplay is always good and I prefer roleplaying over combats, but I don't want to discuss over Society's (out of game) mistakes. Similar thing happened when I played and GM'ed Blakros Matrimony.

Congratulations, Miss Thea Peters! :)

Sovereign Court

Makes sense, thanks for the answer. :)

Sovereign Court

It seems that Improved Natural Armour is forbidden in Society games. What about ranger/druid animal companions? My ranger has a wolf, and it's usually able to take that feat.
Is it allowed to animal companions in Society?

Sovereign Court

Nope, if you fail by more than 10.
But thanks :) I understood it now.

Sovereign Court

Okay thanks but Scimitar is not a trip weapon, I can still apply the bonuses?
Because it says,
"These bonuses must be applicable to the weapon or attack used to perform the maneuver. "

Sovereign Court

Hello,
I have a tripper fighter and she uses a scimitar. Scimitar is not a "trip" weapon. (but you can trip an opponent with any weapon)
I heard that you cann add Weapon bonuses (like +1 Scimitar), Bless (+1 attack) or Inspire Courage (+1 attack) on your CMB when you try to trip/disarm etc your opponent.
Is that true?

Because Paladins don't have "channels per day" they have "lay on hands per day" which they can spend two in order to channel.

Paladins do have channel energy feat after level 4 though... It's kinda confusing to have this feat when you have Paladin 4+ AND cleric.

I think it means both of those. Essentially, what it's saying is that you can use those four extra uses of lay on hands ONLY to channel positive energy (twice), not to use the Lay on Hands action in any way.

Then what's the point by giving four additional LOHs on Extra Channel? If they can be used as only two channels. I don't get it.

Sovereign Court

Yep, you have to choose either Cleric or Paladin, as I've stated on my first post.

"she can use lay on hands four additional times a day, but only to channel positive energy."

Does this mean, either

1) I can't harm an undead by those extra LOHs
2) I can't heal anyone by those extra LOHs

Second option is kinda unreasonable though, first one makes more sense.

Hello,
I've done a little search before opening this thread. My question is quite different, if there is a similar thread, I apologise.

So I've decided to have a cleric/paladin multiclassing build. I want to have Extra Channel feat. I have to choose, extra channel for Paladin or Cleric? Because of the amount of cleric levels and healing power, I chose cleric.

My question is; Extra Channel says,
"Special: If a paladin with the ability to channel positive energy takes this feat, she can use lay on hands four additional times a day, but only to channel positive energy."

Do I get extra Lay on Hands because I have Paladin levels, even though I chose "Extra Channel: Cleric"?

Sovereign Court

I have a short question;

can a PC who usually wears heavy/medium armour, wear a ceremonial one on his regular h/m armour?
Or he has to take off his armour (and maybe leave it in his guest bedroom)?

I've played this at an Organised Play in my local area, we had an excellent GM, imitating every NPC's voice and behaviour individually. If you've been playing pen&paper/PFS for a few months, and want to improve your Golarion Lore or roleplaying skills, then this is an excellent scenario.

Spoiler:
We didn't have much problem about roleplays, as Andoran PCs my friend and I had some difficulties about approaching Tancred, because he didn't "listen" to us at all. Hamaria wasn't around much, we thought she was busy preparing for her daughter's wedding as a host, I simply couldn't find anything to talk to Nigel. He was angry at a party member because our short-tempered samurai called him "bastard" in a very offensive way -lol, my fatherless half-elf ranger spoke to him in Elven and said "please excuse my friend's foolishness" and briefly told my character's backstory to him, to show that I can feel empathise with him. I rolled a good Diplomacy check (with -1 :p) but I still couldn't find anything else to talk to Nigel so I couldn't take any influence point. Cheliax faction leader was too busy flirting with our samurai. :)

My friend and I helped each other's influence points by aid-another, and then completed our mission during ceremony. My friend had +8 diplo, to the contrary I had -1, but still when Alexander stood up and opposed the marriage, I made a good, brief speech to support him and hide his mistake, and rolled 20; success!

Also both my friend and I have the Andoran title "Eagle Knight", it made the things very easy for us. :) The rest of party didn't have anything such.

Also I'm going to play this scenario as GM this weekend, and it will be my second GMing experience. We'll see, I'll work on this hard, this is a wonderful scenario and I want my friends to enjoy this. I hope I won't ruin.

Sovereign Court

I've just seen the comments above! :)
We've played Dalsine Affair and I think it was a smooth run. I don't know if GM has forgotten somethings or not, but he was trying his best, so I don't think that he missed anything important while he was GM'ing.

Spoiler:
I had a tripper-fighter character so in last fight I tripped the boss successfully, also my fighter is a Taldan who is also working for Taldor faction, so with nice roleplays, Diplomacy checks and back up from my party members we could handle the game.

Sovereign Court

Alright, so level 1-7s can play any subtier and get the rewards of that subtier if they can complete the quest. Thanks for the clarification, Paz. :)

Sovereign Court

Hello all,
I'm sorry if there is a similar thread that might answer my question, but all the threads I could find were about "GM credit". Mine is a little different.

Our GM wants to play Dalsine Affair which is for level 1-7s. If we choose subtier 3-4 (our level average),

1) Can level 5 and 6's take xp/rewards?
1) Can level 1 and 2's take xp/rewards? Or they will take the xp when they reach level 3? (When they play the game that will make their characters level 3 after the end of game, they will be having 7 xps instead of 6. That's what I mean.)
