Aisha never knew her parents, they died when she was too young. Since she can remember, it was her older sister Haleen who took care of her, and she is the only family she ever knew. Living in Katapesh wasn't easy for two young girls with no family, but thanks to Haleen they were able to get by. Over the years money was always tight, but they managed nontheless.
When, still a young girl, Aisha demonstrated an intuitive undestanding of the theory of magic, Haleen encouraged her to focus on her talent and develop her fledgling skills. while other wizards and sorcerers refined their art at the College of Dimensional Studies, she was forced to use scraped-by notes from a third-hand washed-out spellbook, but the young girl was intelligent and stubborn, and she managed to learn the rudiments of magic all on her own.
Right when the now-of-age Aisha was planning on using her newly acquired skills to leave the city and earn herself and her sister a
lucrative job on a traveling caravan, Haleen vanished without a word, except for a strange note asking Aisha to forget her, get on with her life, and especially not to follow her. Haleen sudden disappearence, the strange note... Knowing her sister would never leave just like that, Aisha convinced herself something happened to her sister, that maybe she was forced to leave, or even kidnapped. After years of depending on her sister, now it was time for her to protect Haleen. After more than a month of hectic search for clues, finally a reliable lead: a woman matching Haleen's description was seen in the vicinity of an old ghost town named Kalmarane.
Looking for a way to get there as fast as she could, Aisha stumbled upon Garavel's advertisement for mercenaries to accompany him to that very region. She didn't waste time and applied for the job immediately.
Appearance and Personality:
Of average height and slender build, with long waves of shiny black hair cascading behind her back, and possessing delicate features and a gracious countenance, Aisha is indeed a stunning beauty. A captivating smile, a compelling voice and most peculiar golden eyes all add to her charms.
Having just recently come of age, Aisha is eager to explore the world and experience everything it has to offer, first the many wonders and splendors of her own motherland Katapesh, then depart for other, more exotic lands.
Young and full of passion, she is nontheless usually reserved and diffident of strangers, not being used to have friends, or really trusting anyone beside her older sister Haleen.
Always polite and composed, she never raises her voice even in the midst of the most heated quarrel, but gets easily offended (even though she tries not to let it show) if her opinion is not taken properly into account. She also prides herself with having ammassed a noticeable ammount of knowledge on quite a few subjects, and is more than willing to share with others what she knows if asked to.
