Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Ailetha, ignoring the goodwill of her companions, steps forth and shouts at the giants in their own language. In Giant:
Intimidate: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Ailetha looks to her companions.
Ailetha will step back and use her Rod of Extend to cast Haste - 1 round casting time, but will last 20 rounds. Sable, move closer so that can get us all in the spell.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
I truly do not understand all the complaining that is going on. If people do not like the way the game is being run, a PM to Shifty would have been appropriate. He has done yeoman's duty running this campaign after Zyren disappeared. I would love to still have Harry as Harry-Celesta-Karlan-Ailetha have been in this game together for a very long time (Harry and Karlan since the beginning and Ailetha and Celestra since the middle of Book 1). While the timing is not opportune, if people do not like the way the game is being run, nobody is forcing you to stay. As far as how Shifty is running the combat, this is how most pbp games I am in are done with the party acting as a group and able to adjust positions as necessary. In this case, Ailetha moved and attacked one bear, and then the two big hitters engaged the other bear, effectively making her Butterfly Sting ability worthless. Everyone in this game has many years of gaming experience and while most of us have never sat at table together, we and our level 10 characters should understand basic combat tactics. (Fighter engage first to allow rogue to get flanking/sneak, block the mages, keep the cleric alive, etc.) In this game we have multiple time completely deviated from this. Rather than sticking together so that Ailetha and Celestra can use Blessing of Fervor/Haste, we all run around like chickens with out heads cut off, and then wonder why we are getting beat up. Our witch and rogue have charged forward in front of the more heavily armored tanks. We have people not posting for a week at a time so that Shifty has to run them. So, yes, I find things quite frustrating. Despite this rant, I really want to see this game through to the end. If others are not up for that, that is fine. But, please let us know so that we can recruit other players to fill in and allow us to slay a Runelord.

Ailetha continues to dance and pirouette as she attempts to not only hit, but also to confuse the bear so that her companions can get in solid strikes. Attack-rapier: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 11 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 18 <-- +2 Inspire Courage, +1 Haste, +2 Flanking
Attack-iterative: 1d20 + 6 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 16
Attack-haste: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 11 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 34
Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 11 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 27
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Bree, sneak damage is not multiplied on a crit to the best of my knowledge. Hoping to put an end to this as quickly as possible, Ailetha quickly jabs at the bear. Attack-rapier: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 11 + 2 = 16
Attack-rapier: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 2 = 14
Unfortunately neither attack is even close to accurate.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Round 9
Move 60' (haste) Attack-rapier: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18
While not a terrible strike, her aim is not very accurate (no clue if that hit).
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Round 8 Hearing the giants, Ailetha steps forward (crowding with Karlan, which I believe is legal, otherwise waiting for Karlan to move forward). She then calls out to the giants, trying to distract them from their assault on innocent civilians. In Giant:
She then raises her hand and causes sparkling dust to fall about the furthest, red, giant. 5-foot step forward Cast Glitterdust so that it fully encompasses the Red Giant.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Ailetha looks to the others.
Assuming someone else joins her, Ailetha will begin to run toward the sound of new giants. With Haste in effect, she has a movement of 60', or a run speed of 240'.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Kabal - if you want to hit the one I just poked, you get a free confirmed crit. Whoever the next person to attack Orange is, gets a free crit, anyone with an x3 or x4 weapon would be my choice. I think that it is 40' to the bad guy. With the Freedom of Motion, I do not think the difficult terrain should slow Kabal, so he should be able to charge/attack Orange with haste and his barbarian speed.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Continuing her song of giants falling like trees, Ailetha moves around the giant facing Karlan and the jabs out with her invisible rapier. Attack-rapier: 1d20 + 11 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 11 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 35 <--+1 Haste, +2 IC, +2 Flanking, +2 Invisible -- (no dex bonus for giant)
Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 11 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 11 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 27
Bree and Celestra, help Kabal with the other midget. Karlan and I should have this one. Ailetha's attack ends the globe of invisibility.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Oops, must have read Shifty's post when I could not post. Realizing that the giants have a bead on them, Ailetha moves forward with the others, beginning to call out to encourage her companions as she does. Move group adjacent to the giants, unless anyone does not wish to move. Other Move: Begin Inspire Courage +2 on lots of stuff.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
I am confused on the rules for pinpointing an invisible creature. Is the DC20, or 40? There are a whole bunch of number in the RAW. Also, would a stealth check be applicable? Finally, you have one attack that seems to target Celestra, but then says that Ailetha was hit (I think that was copied from the first attack.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Ailetha groans as the various more religious members of the group shout and threaten from their invisible positions. Not sure if it matters, but Ailetha could only move herself + 3 others. I thought that Celestra and Sable would use their ability to fly to join the more melee types.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Not sure how you want to rule. Per RAW, the Dimension Door would be Ailetha's action, and everyone else (Kabal, Karlan and Bree) would have their action still. If it is the next round, Ailetha will cast Haste.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Ailetha looks to the other ladies. I can get four of out there. Celesta, if you and Sable can fly, we can all get out there quick. Dimension door - 400+40'/level (800' range). Also, can take self + 1/3 level (Karlan, Kabal, Bree and Ailetha). I can make the four of us invisible, and then get us right next to one of the giants. I can only do it once, so we will have to get back ourselves. I do have the ability to make us all invisible a few times. Proposed plan would be to cast Invisibility 10' radius (assuming it was not cast before), then Dimension Door to get the four of us out there.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Ailetha puts down her mug and sighs:
First, she will cast Freedom of Motion on Kabal (duration 100 minutes). Then, just before Celestra cast Teleport, Ailetha will cast Invisibility 10' radius.
Kabal, you should be very difficult to impede or grapple for a while.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Empty slots are always good - skip a Remove (Disease, Restoration, etc) spell. They are usually not time sensitive, so taking 15 minutes to get them is not likely to kill someone. Pretty much any long term buffing spell or healing type spell (other than the Cure spells that you can spontaneously cast) can be done via an empty slot.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20 Ailetha spends most of her time encouraging the town and raising their morale, unfortunately she is not really paying attention. Sable, my guess is that Celestra will have memorized a Remove Blindness spell.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Ailetha looks around the group. My advice is that Sable and Karlan accompany you. Bree, Kabal and I shall return to Turtleback Ferry where we will meet you tomorrow. Then we can all return to Sandpoint the next day.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
I figured that Karlan or Celestra would be the ones doing the talking here. Ailetha, uncertain as to why the more religious types were not stepping forward, takes a step toward the ghostly fey. Gaining her composure, she speaks:
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
How long is it to Turtleback Ferry? And how long from there to the ghost Princess? How long if we are walking that is? I am asking because we need to accomplish things at both places, and only have one person who knows how to teleport. My plan would be for Celestra, and someone else, probably Karlan who has been deputized, to teleport to Sandpoint to report about the giants attack. It should probably be two people, probably Bree or Sable, since she can take 3 people with her which would allow her to get the rest of us on the second trip. She would then teleport back to Turtleback Ferry, a well known locale, tomorrow while the rest of us head to the ghost to return the body. After returning the body, we would meet her at Turtleback Ferry, and then all teleport to Sandpoint the following day.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Standing next to the paladin, Ailetha nods in agreement, her arms crossed in front of her and staring at the hags with no showing of her usual merry nature. We shall always be guardians of Turtleback Ferry. If word should come of you harming any intelligent non-evil life, we shall be back in the blink of an eye, and next time there shall be no negotiating.

Ailetha continues with the questions, generally ignoring their inquiries:
Also, tell me more of the Princess. Why do you hate her so? What is it that she has that you do not? You are alive, she is a ghost of her former self. Even if she was far more beautiful than you, her beauty has now faded, never to return.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Ailetha's eyes narrow at the hags response as she attempts to discern the true meaning behind the words. Deciding to cease the giant tongue so that her companions can understand, she continues:
Finally, you reference that you simply wish to stay here to cook, heal and trade. What is it that you cook? Who do you heal and how? And, what is it that you would trade? Sense Motive: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (4) + 18 = 22 <-- Ailetha is very cognizant of what their responses are as she attempts to discern the truth being stated by these generally evil ladies.
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Ailetha chuckles at Celestra's naive misunderstanding:
With that, Ailetha steps forward next to Karlan and addresses the "ladies" in Giant: I must apologize, however, I do believe that your noble knight is both a noble warrior in the service of Iomedae and already betrothed. However, he does believe in redemption, but if you are allow to seek redemption, we must have information. What do you know of Bari and his plans? And, what do you know of Bari's masters and their plans? And, why would you expect the Princess to return? Answer quickly for I doubt all my companions have the patience to grant second chances. Diplomacy: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35 <-- apparently Ailetha knows how to talk to hags

Ailetha looks to Celestra:
The rest of us can take the corpse to the ghost, and then wait for you near Turtleback Ferry. Can you take more than just one person? Perhaps you should travel with us to the ghost, and then go to Sandpoint. It will take us the better part of a day to get to Turtleback ferry from there. If you can take us all, once we finish with the ghost, we could all travel with you to Sandpoint to help defend the town.

Ailetha moves forward hesitantly, invisibility still encompassing her.
She looks around to see whether the giant had any equipment that might be useful for binding a giant. She will also cast Detect Magic to see whether the giant, or the chamber, have any magic of note. Ailetha is invisible, and Sable and Celestra will remain visible as long as they are near me. Duration is 10 minutes, in case we are going to move on in less than 10 minutes. Semi-retcon: Seeing Kabal begin to move toward the green giant, Ailetha calls out:
Female Changeling(Hulking) Bard/10 (HP: 82/82; AC27; FF23; T14; F+7, R+11, W+7; Perc: +11, Init +10)
Ailetha reaches out and touches where she knows the blind witch was last standing. With a brief song, her invisible hand glows invisible blue and healing magic seeps into the witches burned skin, soothing the burns and causing new flesh to grow where some was burned. Cast Cure Moderate Wounds on Sable: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (4, 4) + 10 = 18 Quietly to Celestra and Sable:
I assume we would move as a group to stay within the 10' invisibility radius. Not sure how this works for RAW. If it is ok with Shifty, and Sable and Celestra want to move, we can do so as a group, Ailetha will lead the blind Sable.
