Maybe we should call in some Eberron artificer to fix the web... or maybe they're already at work, and that Gleemax is in fact a portal to the demonweb pits!
So, the WotC website's countdown brought to nothing but the crash of their servers - what a start for their new "digital initiative"...
Meanwhile, Paizo is still failing to provide the Pathfinder #1 PDF; and even the Skype network all over the world has collapsed!
Is this the beginning of the end for the digital era? Me, I'll keep close to my old, dear pencil and paper games.

Today I checked my account, and I find in the "Sidecart" the following: "You have 1 item waiting to be shipped when Pathfinder #2—Rise of the Runelords Chapter 2: "The Skinsaw Murders" (OGL) arrives at our warehouse:
• GameMastery Module D2: Seven Swords of Sin (OGL) 1 @ $12.99"
- but then in My Order Hystory I see the same module charged at a full $19.85 (I live in Italy).
So what's the deal? I expected to see the total cost to be significantly lower. By the way, when I ordered modules D1 and W1 as part of my ongoing subscription, I was charged $19.40, slightly less than what I see for module D2...
Please, can anyone over there at Paizo fix the problem, and let us know exactly what are we going to pay with the different shipping options? thank you very much.
OK, now My order History shows an order for Pathfinder #1, Module D2 and RotR Player's Guide for a total of $14,48, which seems right considering my Charter subscriber status.
My credit card has already been charged for that amount, although I cannot download the Pathfinder #1 PDF yet...

I think folks may be missing something here. Now, I'm not up on the OGL and D20 licensing, but I don't think WotC is under any obligation to update the SRDs to 4E. It's entirely possible that WotC will not extend the OGL to 4E.
This would explain WotC pulling in their product licensing. It would also explain Paizo going the OGL route with Gamemastery and Pathfinder, since they can continue publishing material for D&D.
Please refer to: http://www.icv2.com/articles/home/11123.html
It seems like 4th Edition will have some sort of OGL: "The Open Gaming License will continue as it has in the past, allowing the use of the rules in other publishers' games."
Golem101, that's not fair, I live in Italy too and I'm a charter! I'm really envious, I want THE email!!
Err... These adresses don´t work, says amazon.com. Can anybody please either provide working links or summarize the content?
Stefan You can just go to amazon.com and search for "wizards present". According to amazon.com the release date is December 18, 2007!
Actually, the release date for the first two manuals appears to be December 18th 2007...
They're already available at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Wizards-Presents-Classes-Michele-Carter/dp/0786948019 /ref=sr_1_1/102-6363971-3121762?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1187252782& sr=8-1
Pathfinder #1 is no longer tagged "preorder expected August 2007", but nevertheless the PDF is not yet available for downloading...

The D&D world is indeed ready for a $200 product: see the Ptolus Hardcover + CD-Rom + Handouts + Poster maps... from Monte Cook.
