And remember - the 6:00 and 9:00 shows are not the same!!!!
;) *bows*
Thank you! Thank you!

:As for the dagger, you are welcome to examine it if you wish, dwarf, but I will not chance any mishaps. I will open the earth for you to go down and examine it, and if it is safe then you may bring it up here before I send you three back to the surface.:
"Fine, then."
I'll use Detect Magic and Evil on it, concentrating for a thorough examination. It's not magical or evil. Ryo only used it for it's reflective quality.
"They ran away, can we leave now?"
"Yeah Little Brother, right after I send them a warning."
Ryo walks over and wrenches the dagger from the pillar, then walks over to the hole and drops it in. It hits the bottom harmlessly.
"Keaton, I know an Inn we can go to that has wonderful food, how about we go get something to eat?"
"Sure! I'm pretty hungry now!"
As they walk out of the house, Keaton's shadowy cat fades away as Ryo's cards fly back to him.
The dagger is not really a warning. Think about it.

At this point the ground beneath Aananda literally opens up and she falls through into a hole of indeterminate depth.
I did not do that.
Kannic Orefinder wrote: Still invisible, Kannic shifts, using his Detect Magic to hopefully spot the real creature. It's a mask. The real creature is standing were the kid is, and the mask's magic is making the illusion.
Kannic Orefinder wrote: Kannic holds his breath as the volley of arrows flies. Sensing that Ryo is under some sort of compulsion he uses Detect Magic to try and see if the image of the young Keaton is an image, and if so he then looks for the source. It's an illusion alright. He's using his Mask of Lies to make himself look alive, and is also using it to make him look like his younger self. Combine that(a penalty to will saves for Ryo), and Keaton's Dominate ability, and you have one failed save. It doesn't help that Ryo just wants this whole to be a really bad dream.

What are the dimensions of the mist? Tam is in the air now - I thought he'd be out of it...
Kelgore's Grave Mist is 20ft high and 20ft wide, and is always centered on the caster. Kannic was within 15ft. and I assumed Tamrin moved close enough when he flew up. Given that he is more of a ranged fighter, you can ignore the damage(and the fatigue) if you want.
Okay, time to play catch-up with your questions. Kannic: Keaton is close enough for you to attack, but a roll of 26 is a miss.
Aananda: Don't worry, your chance to go hand-to-hand(or broke piece of table-to-hand) soon. I've still got one more trick to use...
Mist Damage(Tamrin and Kannic):1d6 ⇒ 6 cold
Kannic Orefinder wrote: He scans the room for hidden threats, and maybe a few valuables. He keeps his axe at the ready, but loosens his gunbelt. Nothing truly valuble is in the room. The drinks would have been nice, but they are all over the floor now...
Tamrin's shot strikes true... and rips through Keaton, tearing a huge hole in abdomen before he blinks out of existence.
Aananda wrote: Aananda studies the room carefully as she plans her next move carefully.
She's gonna see lots of sparkly mites everywhere that there's magic present. Also, I'm looking for any loose furniture, walls, etc to exploit.
There are four points on each pillar(two on both sides, one at the top and bottom) that are covered in sparkly mites(they are the illusion's source). Keaton is covered in them. There are chairs and tables in the corners, and there is the big table with food on it. Banners hang from the ceiling, and streamers float seemingly on there own.
A soft voice wafts through Tamrin's mind.
"You needn't worry sir, I know what is happening. I offered my home for this fight because I am interested in these two brothers. I wonder, who is stronger?
The voice fades away.
Tamrin Sunwake wrote: Erm - so where are the nifty dice rolls coming from, by the by...? :) Instead of puuting 'ooc' in brackets type 'dice'3d6'/dice'
And the shadows are bat swarms, which ignore AC.
EDIT: Ninja'd by Aananda
The party goes well, no problems at all. More than a few times, keaton can be seen standing by the pillars in the room, but he seems to be just watching the other dancers. Finally, though too soon for some of the guests, the party ends and people leave.
Opening the door and holding for his friends, Ryo looks out at the people dancing. Graceful, fast, slow, all types of dancing flow seamlessly with the music. To one side, a table filled with wonderful foods, to the other, elegant glasses fill themselves with beverages for everyone. The inside of this place is to the outside as ambrosia is to cheap wine. Gold and platinum outline patterns on the wall, and the floors have mithral inlay with the occasional sapphire and opal embedded in it. Streamers hangs from the ceiling, and ambient light mixed with faints streams of color fills the dance room.
Tamrin Sunwake wrote: "It explains why he's so obsessed about this whole thing. I can't even imagine trying to deal with something like this...we've got to try and help him out, and it looks like we need to do it fast before something even worse happens." Insert *BOOM* here. :D

Kannic Orefinder wrote: Kannic successfully covers his surprise, more from his suspicions than skill, at this information and what it portends.
"Well, if that's the only lead we have to go on, try to get some information on the missing lad. Associates, hang outs, etc. Could be that our quarry is using his identity, and we can use that to get closer to him. Or using the name to get closer to the Seer. Either way, tread softly, lest we get embroiled in the mess."
He slides the associate a small bag of coins for his trouble, and takes a long pull from his tankard.
Kannic's associate leaves to dig for more information, wondering just what he has gotten into...
Listen closely children, for The Brother's Tale is about to take an interesting twist...
After a bit of conversation with Kannic to pass the time, Ryo retreats back to his room to exercise his psychic abilities in private. Before he can start though, he notices his pack. The corner of a book is peaking out, and Ryo pulls it and sits on his bed looking through it, a mixture of happiness and saddness on his face.
Downstairs though, Kannic receives a bit more information than he thought he would about Keaton, but it's not what he expected.
"I looked up all the people with the name 'Keaton', and only one has dissappeared in the past month, all others have been accounted for. The Keaton who went missing was a 17-year old human male, and was none other than the younger brother of 3rd Rank Seer Ryo. Whether the Keaton that you are having us look for is the same person, I am not sure."
