HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis was especially distant that evening. During the night, each member of the group found that their small spell tattoo he had given each of them had faded away, as though it never existed. In place of Aedalis the next morning, was a note left where his tent had been pitched; a page torn from Aedalis' precious journal and used to leave a message.

My fellow castaways; I hope that my sudden departure will not be perceived as betrayal and I hope you do not judge me too harshly. In truth; I never took to the castaway life like the rest of you did. I finally had a taste for comforts, power and wealth in Eleder and I find myself less and less inclined to risk my neck on an expedition, especially now that we are not even affiliated with the Pathfinders- to whom I had always aspired to become part of. I plan to take up a cushy job with them in Eleder; out of respect for our former association I will have nothing to do with any activities that the Pathfinders might have planned, nor will I supply them with any relevant information about our group or travels. I consider it highly unlikely that they do not already have an expedition following your own; for Tazion is quite a prize, likely as it is to get you all killed...

With fond memories, prayers and wishes for good luck;

Aedalis Omathi

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Evil Eye to attacks.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

In case I forget to post it or you want to update past his action, Aedalis' next action will be to cure Corbrius (using hex and at range via Scar).

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis marred the western beast's ability to savage Anton or anyone else.

Evil Eye, Focus.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis Will: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Quite frightened by the beast's display of strength, Aedalis stammered out words of power that seemed feeble to him, as he attempted to protect Mihai by marring the beast's luck.

Misfortune, DC18

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis extended his hexes before adding a Misfortune to the mix.

DC18 Will negates.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Thanks for the bot, crazy busy couple of days.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

The air elemental's whirlwind form faded and it attempted to strike the foe instead.

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

If things go (further) south, Aedalis will try to Chilling Touch the warrior so we can beat a hasty retreat.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Short on time again and don't want to hold game up. Aedalis will reduce the foe's AC as requested.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

The second air elemental became a tiny whirlwind, much like the first one had...

DC12 reflex save or take 1d4+1 damage. If that is failed, a second save at the same DC or be hoisted into the whirlwind for a single round.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Another air elemental. If it survives the readied action, it will Whirlwind like the other one did.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis maintained his hexes while his summoned elemental expired waiting for the pit spell to end. With a disdainful look at Tragershen, Aedalis part-summoned another.

Move action, extend, standard summon. Using a standard next round to finish summon.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Didn't have time to check the rules (and still don't) but probably not, think its usually 30 feet.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis will continue to focus on the evil eye hex he placed upon the foe (-2 saving throws) while doing the following- infuse his Spectral Hand with another Chill Touch spell and create/extend Fortune hexes on Nim and Corbrius.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Need an Evil Eye save too, is actually relevant for once because if he fails the save i'll summon again.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Its a pathetically low DC but honestly it seemed a better chance of doing damage than a +6 to attack lol.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Yup. Didn't look it up and assumed you added the ability modifier too.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Whirlwind is not a spell; and summoning isn't directly affecting the enemy. Not sure what the SR check would be for. I'll include one to save time in case i'm wrong.

SR: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis conjured his summon into a flanking position, although the small air elemental looked rather paltry compared to the foe. Nevertheless, it formed itself into a whirlwind just above the ground, a ten feet high maelstrom of currents and air. The whirlwind moved to engage the armoured foe, just as Aedalis hexed its ability to resist the winds...

Evil Eye (Saving Throws) which he will extend combined with the air elemental's whirlwind ability. So a DC12 reflex save at -2 or take 1d4+1 damage. If that is failed, a second save at the same DC or be hoisted into the whirlwind for a single round.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis was loathe to expend more of his most powerful magick. Conservative by nature, to use another of his most potent spells irked him but he saw the need for it. He took another step back away from the fray and began to summon...

Summon Monster 2.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Round 2 Action-

Aedalis' spectral hand snaked out once more to grasp the closest Wight...

Melee Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 - 1 + 2 = 10

DC17 Save or panicked for 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 rounds.

Thrice-damned spell... Aedalis cursed as his spectral hand narrowly missed the Wight.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis' spectral hand snaked out to grasp the closest Wight, while the warlock himself slunk behind the more heavily armoured Mihai.

Melee Touch Attack VS FF AC (10): 1d20 + 2 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 - 1 + 2 = 13

DC17 Save or panicked for 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 rounds.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis cast a fresh Chill Touch spell into his Spectral Hand and also had Tilsini bear a Touch of Fatigue spell, before moving on.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Spectral Hand Melee Touch: 1d20 + 2 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 - 1 + 2 = 7

Aedalis continued to have little success applying his necromantic energies...

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis' spectral hand snaked up towards the roof, soaring up to touch one of the undead. The hand narrowly missed the undead he was focused upon.

Melee Touch Attack (Possibly VS FF as Climbing?): 1d20 + 2 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 - 1 + 2 = 9

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis offered his own healing ability first, the warlock keen to preserve Mihai's more versatile power for the threatds that may lie ahead.

Healing 1/day 1/person. You can roll for yourself if you need it, inc. Wice. 1d8+4.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis' spectral hand floated from the warlock towards the Ooze, infusing it with negative energy as it unerringly found its mark.

Melee Touch Attack (Threat): 1d20 + 2 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 - 1 + 2 = 23
Melee Touch Attack (Unconfirmed): 1d20 + 2 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 - 1 + 2 = 4
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

DC17 Save or 1 Strength Damage in addition.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

In case i'm not able to post next round Aedalis will continue to make touch attacks with his Chill Touch and Spectral Hand on the undead. It will last for 3 more successful touches.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Sorry finally have time for a decent post. Starting with the Knowledge (Religion) roll:

Untrained Kno (Religion) (Max DC10): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Lol. I'm glad Tragershen at least managed to tell us something.

Aedalis sent his Spectral Hand forward, infusing it with necromantic energy as it glowed a pale blue in response to his magic. It reached out to touch the undead furthest from the warlock in an effort to buy Tragershen some reprieve.

Melee Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 - 1 + 2 = 19

The incorporeal hand reached out and brushed the face of the Salt Wight; negative energy shuddering through its corpse and manipulating the energy that animated it in the first place; to something resembling fear...

DC17 Will Save or be Panicked for 1d4+4 Rounds

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis cast Spectral Hand, creating a Ghostly hand formed from his life essence.

HP: 1d4 ⇒ 3

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Having marred the ooze's offence, Aedalis goes to work on its defence.

Evil Eye, -2 to AC.

Just a quick post as i'm on iPad.

Will post by this evening (GMT), we have guests again. DM happy for you to bot me if needed.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

This is about as far as I got with my group, so it will be refreshing to not remember much of what is coming. Aside from a little knowledge of the meta-plot, finally on even ground and don't need to worry about metagaming so much.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

After his usual spell preparations, Aedalis tailored the spells he chose from Tilsini to better fight undead.

Ready. Lots of chill touch prepared.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Sorry for hold up on my end. Grappling to get access to my Herolab again, as i'm on a new PC. Aedalis' spellbook was managed there (I still have the portfolio file so no pressure on that front).

Long-term spells cast will be Mage Armour (recalled once), False Life (False Life HP: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12), Dancing Lantern and Unseen Servant. I'll decide the rest tomorrow when I get my license.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

About to hit the sack, Aedalis will cast his usual x2 Mage Armours on himself and Tilsini as well as False Life. Will resolve tomorrow asap :).

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Are we far ahead enough of the expedition that we could still guide them here, after a night of rest? If so, then I suggest we should prepare. If this is not the case... then I would strongly advise pushing on, now. The magic I have at my disposal today is far more suited to living foes, not ghosts or "death walkers..."

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis reacted rather poorly to the rain, grumbling a lot. He makes little effort to hide the fact that he was quite enjoying the self-pampering in the city.

Spells updated for travelling.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis saw little point in speaking up against the will of so many of the group.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Let us assume as such, and act accordingly Aedalis said, looking quite uneasy in the unfamiliar surroundings.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Change of declared action to extend all hexes and use Healing on Corbrius (assuming he is alive, Aedalis knows based on the Scar

Healing: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis abandoned his concentration upon his various hexes, moving beside Nim in order to toy with Umagro's fate, spinning fate to hinder him in every way imaginable.

Misfortune on Umagro. He is still at -2 to saves until end of Aedalis' action. Everyone I have fortuned gets it until Aedalis' action, then it expires.

Slowly moving towards the fight 5 foot step south, Aedalis fixed Umagro with a hex-infused glare; whether or not the man looked at Aedalis or not, the baleful magic marred his resilience, in preparation for the warlock's next hex...

Evil Eye on Umagro for -2 to saves. Its being extended irrespective of whether the save is successful, alongside Fortune hexes on Anton Corbrius and Wice.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Corbrius you still have Fortune every round for the moment btw.

Retcon-

In preparation for the assault, Aedalis cast Unseen Servant, commanding the force to follow him closely until told otherwise. He moved slowly as he continued to maintain his two Fortune hexes, and added a third weave to include Wicewakan into his mind's eye. He then cast Touch of Fatigue and infused the spell into Tilsini's essence, so that his faithful familiar could deliver it upon a successful nip of his teeth.

HP 39/30, AC- 11 (15 MA) T- 11 FF- 10 (14MA), CMD- 12, F +6, R +4, W +7, P +7, In +5

Aedalis sat down cross-legged, shut his eyes and focused his otherworldly talents upon Anton's scar as he attempted to keep fate in the brave Halfling's favour.

Fortune on Anton. Aedalis will continue to extend it until the situation changes.
