Adriel sees the meat in front of him and gets a sick feeling that they are DEFINITELY in the right area, but he knew he was being as silent as the dead. He did not know if they were being watched...

He activates his flight again (SLA) and in a quiet voice chitters to Thasher, Fly above 30 feet and circle us. Scream to me where any foes ready to ambush, but of we are not being watched, stay silent and return.

The little dino beats his wings and heads straight up..... Thrasher and Adriel have a secret language which it a mess of Chitters, screaches and whistles. No one except them understands it. He has 8 int so as smart as a below average human.

Thrasher perception. Birds eye view to spot enemies: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30

The elf continues slowly, but cautiously, hoping his familiar can give him an indication.

I'm in front keep the light low so I can use the shadows. Astri second, Sorrin stick close to Rose if we get hit at the back. If I need you up front, run towards the smell of sulpher and the screaming.

Adriel renews the light on Sorrin's blade then dashes out to 30ft from him to get in the lower light and moves from cover to cover. He keeps Thrasher with him this time.

Adriel finishes his inspection and moves outside, motioning to Astri.

He continues to hold the spell active and heads towards the other building Astri pointed out. No point in stealth now. They had moved past that point.

Adriel casts DETECT MAGIC and casts an enchanted eye around the smithy. If this man had any skill there might be a decent weapon or armor about...

Since everyone was apparently interested in the INSIDE of the house and not in the newcomer, Adriel lowers his blade.
If you are so keen to help, get inside, maybe if the find combat that spell you just cast might not go to waste.

The elf moves to back up the women who were attempting to hop through the window.

Adriel expertly does a dive forward layout roll through the window and comes up blade at the ready.

Adriel sees the target but attempts to remain hidden himself as he uses the buildings for cover amd darts from shadow to shadow.
He doesn't draw a weapon, for the glimmer of his blade could give him away as he attempts to close the distance.

Adriel speaks a few words as he walks over to Sorrin, then touches the side of the mans sword.
Light. As requested. Now do us a favor and follow about 30ft behind me please? I usually scout out front and that light source will do you no favors hiding, but it will draw attention away from me, which is how I like it.

The elf sends Thrasher to circle 30 ft overheard, his dark coloration and size making him nearly invisible.
Then he utters an acrcane phrase for DETECT MAGIC and begins to stealth ahead of the group.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26

Stealth to -D15 then work southward.
Stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Adriel dismounts the belt and stops to clasp the captain on the shoulder.
Your skill is noteworthy. Drink does not become you, Captain. Be here when we return and if you can kick the drink, maybe we can get you on a real ship again. We have business in the town. If we are successful, we will have a ship that needs a crew. Think about how much the bottle means to you while we are gone.

He turns to follow his allies. The man had obvious skill and his problems with the drink would mean he should command far less of a wage than his skill would dictate. A good proposition for them IF they could get him sober.

If you intend to play a healbot then the Merciful Healer would have been cool if his domains allow it.

As it stands your build has the stats to be a potent caster.

Taking a moment once the boat calms, Adriel uses his pearl of power to reprepare his CHILL TOUCH spell.

It's effects are not as pronounced as my Frosted Blade, but it is quite useful. Glad I learnt this one.

He looks out over the water as their craft skimmed by.

Adriel is visibly relieved when Thrasher is restored to full health.
The little dino actually flaps up to the top of the mast to shriek loudly and open his wings to the air before returning to Adriels shoulder.

When quizzed about his behavior Adriel explained , HE, says he killed 3. He feels like his dragon blood is showing. Pay no mind. He is bonded to me and it appears he has developed an ego like mine.

I am finding it ironic I get two crits in a row on mooks. I am gonna have a flurry of wiffs when we fight a boss

EDIT: just noticed Bri set it on fire, if that was enough to kill it, instead Adriel would have flown to E2 and attacked F3, flanking with Sorren for the same bonuses.

I don't care if it's a Cleric, Druid, Oracle, Shaman, Healing Focused Paladin (Hospitaler), Inquisitor.

We have plenty of Arcane Magic between Bri, Asti and Adriel
Astri is a Bard and no class does skills better than a Bard.
Adriel and Sorrin have melee covered

Embrianna can do a bit of healing.
I don't really care so long as we can deal with that.
What concerns me is conditon removal
Magic is awesome but too many high level casters spoil the game.

I vote

Inqusitor, Paladin, Oracle or Cleric IN that order
(since a cleric has access to the whole damn Divine List they are the most powerful with rest)

Surprise Round:

The elf's eyes widen as he sees the udead creatures emerge from the water below and he istinctively activates his FLIGHT HEX, calling a warning, Undead in the water!
In his chittering language the instructs his familiar- Thrasher, attack

Rd 1: Seeing Astri flanked as the undead climb out of the water,

Thrsaher leaps from the shoulder of his master and SUDDEN SWOOPS at the closest undead in I3 (does not provoke) pecking and clawing at the things head to distract the thing.
Aid another target AC10 to improve masters attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Releived that he'd made the descision to learn a spell useful against undead after his failings on the ship, the elf falls into his Casting and calls a CHILL TOUCH into his blade,
fliesdown to I2 and spins his feet about the undead head (moving TRHOUGH his square with Acrobatics)
and drops down to just above water level, drawing his weapon as part of the move and uses his ARCANE POOL to enchant his weapon +2 Bonus swift action,
(the undead's head is near his feet in the adjacent square) to hover above falls into his spell and Delivers his Free ACTION Strike casting of CHILL TOUCH at the creatures head with a downward chop.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
2 handed CHILL TOUCH SPELLSTRIKE, Arcane Pool, Aid another, Flank, Elevated Position: 1d20 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 6 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 31

A guide to spellstrike and touch spells
I understand alot seems to be going on. For clarification he Casts the spell with a standard (recieving a FREE ACTION touch attack), moves through the undead square (acrobatics to activate Daredevil boots), and Delivers his free action Touch spell via Spellstrike, See the link for a reference.

I think not captain. I am fairly protective of my friends and they need Safe passage. I would be ill serving them by encouraging you to dull your senses any further sailing in darkness. We have your coin, now let's be off. Fair work for fair pay.

The elf was in his customary armor lammellar. Fine Scimitar on his hip and other weapons in his belt loops and strapped to his back. When his hair was tied back his pupiless eyes against golden skin gave him a sleek, dangerous look.

Thrasher screeched loudly at the captain.

One the voyage over here, he was the ships surgeon and worked tirelessly to keep the crew healthy and the passengers we were carrying. He has the personality of a doorknob, but that man cares alot for others, help him find a connection and you'll find him worth saving. His skills alone make him worth the effort. I am far too much of a bastard to put myself in danger for anyman, but don't let MY character flaws color your perception. See for yourself. I only ask that you try and if he leaves me looking like a fool for your efforts I'd kill him myself.

That was all Hawkins was going to get. Adriel's limited generosity was exhausted on the man. He'd sought a valuble member on the community to impeach on his behalf.
The padre had a better chance than some unknown adventurer.

Adriel's eye twitches just a little at the mention of not moving hard to save Hawkins.
Not unmotivated, simply lacking in options. We came here to start a legitimate business and getting on the wrong side of the law is the last thing we need. I may be a Sellsword but my trade is legal. Hawkins has already been sentenced, and barring begging for clemensy or trying to buy him as a slave to work off a sentence, I don't see how we can stop it without committing a serious offense ourselves. We had intended to appeal for his life in service tomorrow and I for one would like to continue with that plan and leave later. Unless you are willing to take our word and remember the man you met seemed a good and honorable sort.
He may have killed but so have we all father. There is no crime in defending oneself from attack. Hawkins is no murderer. If you want us to leave I would beg you make appeal upon our behalf that he be released to your care under the church. When we return and you have taken his measure if you feel he is guilty we will hand him over to the authroities ourselves.

It surprised the elf that he was even arguing the point.
Hawkins was not his friend.

Adriel is happy to follow along. He wants to find some work for himself or the party, so heading to the merchant quarter or seeing if there is a mercantile company would be good.

At the conclusion of their business, Adriel asks the harbormaster, Pardon, friend. I realise this is not your area of business, but is there a mercantile company in one of the quarters or a place merchants tend to go to look for protection. I've some skill and am looking for work.

Fair enough. Law abiding citizens we are then. Hawkins seemed a lawful type, at the very lest we have made an effort. Honestly, if we do get him out he SHOULD be confined to a damn ship. That mans sticky beak and heavy principles have gotten him into too much trouple. But he'll make a fine crewman. Question is, once we have a ship, what are we doing with it?

Adriel follows to the meeting, having returned the Hat of disguise and replacing the magical bolero on his own head.

Thrasher flapped down and rejoined his master. When they finally catch up with everyone else he is his usual self but doesn't mention the Gnawing feeling he got occasionally when he knew something was wrong.

I'm not opposed to chipping in and we COULD make an oveture to your knew best friend for a reduction in sentence from Hanging to enforeced service before the mast. I'm not sure if it's custom here, but there are a few cities that allow you to Buy prisoners as slaves. I'm not saying I approve the practice but it could be a way to save his life without putting anyone offside. Plus, Hawkins would be good crew.

Ignore the mature stuff if you want, TWO of my COT chars did not approve of certain behaviors (Daniel the virgin paladin and Duncan was the rough shod father figure)

Adriel is based off of Bron/Oberon from Game of thrones so he loves drink and women but will stick his neck out to save kids and such.
