ADRIEL is similar to Jin. Did a 25 point buy. Not as dour and not a Bladebound. Has a petrosaur familiar.

Apparently satisfied nothing was going to jump out and eat them, Thrasher nuzzles his Master, a sign that danger was not imminent.

Adriel steps in behind Sweet and chirrups to Thrasher, instructing the little Dino to keep an eye out and warn them on danger. The Dino sits on his Masters.shoulder and answers in a series of hisses and chirps, then seems to frantically scan about.

Adriel casts DETECT MAGIC and Scans: Perception1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

Thrasher: Perception1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21

If not I would humbly suggest I cast light on your best fighters armor and myself and your scout can stay forward, using our low light vision to allow us to see in the shadows while the dimness grants us some concealment for stealthing

Thank-you all for being reasonable. Do you have a preferred order of march or might I follow your main scout? I can be quiet when needed and Thrasher here is silent when needed. Oh, don't anyone pet him by the way. He is hungry and he bites. Directly behind me is merely the exit. We can go that way if you wish to try the front door again.

Feel free to attempt such on me if it will ease your mind my Fey friend. Though just because the blood in my veins is warm does not make me an ally. Actually, I have yet to see a single undead here. Abberations yes, but no undead.

It sounds like we are not at cross purposes then. You wish to find the children, a noble goal, I was hired to find the source of the trouble. Our missions seem along similar paths. The elf lowers his blade but does not sheath it.
Then you have had worse luck than I so far, friend.
You all notice in the light what appears to be a large winged lizard on his shoulder, claws hanging onto leather covered pauldrons that allow it to grip it's master without damaging his fine cloak.
My name is Adriel, here to investigate the source of whatever foul magic pervades this place. I found the front entrance guarded by a large worm and since I was alone, decided to find another entrance, this shaft was my way in, though whatever made the hole I have not encountered yet.

Misfortune (Su): The witch can cause a creature within 30 feet to suffer grave misfortune for 1 round. Anytime the creature makes an ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, it must roll twice and take the worse result. A Will save negates this hex. At 8th level and 16th level, the duration of this hex is extended by 1 round. This hex affects all rolls the target must make while it lasts. Whether or not the save is successful, a creature cannot be the target of this hex again for 1 day.

Cackle just means I can keep it going indefinitely as long as I spend a move action every round.
It IS NOT mind effecting and Hexes do not provoke.

This will let me go
1-spellstrike+move to close
2- Misfortune, hex
3- stand there and standard attack+ cackle while enemy has toroll twice and take the suckyroll.
Repeat!

BEWARE DIVE BOMBING LIZARDS!
Not sure if I will try it but thrasher can sudden swoop a touch attack at +9 to hit without provoking and has a AC17.
Not bad...

also checked the rules forum.
If I take a point in Linguistincs (which I have done) to learn a language, the familiar should learn it too. (This is an opinion not covered by the normal rules.)
the famailiar does have 8int and 8 int chars can learn different languages.

DM, is it cool for Thasher to UNDERSTAND common?
(I accept he doesn't have vocal cords to speak it, but he is as smart as a dumb human)

More HP, Better AC, Brings Healing and Cackles like a crazy person.
Just gotta massage the fluff a bit but mechanically and gear wise is ready to go. My familiar needs his skills massaged a bit but I can post if you guys and DM are ready for him.
