I have an uncle who's Buddhist, who in turn has all sorts of alternative friends (also, has the largest collection of living butterflies I have ever seen. He's a really cool uncle).

One of them claimed that he and his wife had been trying, with various degrees of success, to achieve an "ultimate orgasm" by sneezing and farting at the same time they reached sexual climax.

Apparently, he had managed to develop quite a bit of control over his bowels over all those years of trying.

Food for thought.

Finally.

The LPM is back online!

:D

And now a message from your hippy left wing gay atheist Canadian, aka Me.
Don't like Texas then don't move there, otherwise grow up and leave Texas be. That is all.

Only when you act the ass while you do it. :)

This thread has been people acting like asses since the first post. Don't lay that blame at the Texan's feet.

Don't see how calling stupidity for what it is can be inflammatory.

In the middle of the day on a Sunday? For goodness' sake, man, go enjoy yourself and clean up after the kids tomorrow. Or make the minions do it for you.

chuckle... snort...

It's Ross... He is the minion.

Don't forget that Dallas is one of the most expensive cities in Texas. Less than Austin, but more than Houston or San Antonio. Definitely more than smaller cities like Amarillo, Brownsville, Texarkana, and El Paso.

Texas is really healthy right now. (Houston, where I live, is awash in energy jobs.)

Don't tell them that!

Texas sucks! It's just a bunch of slackjawed troglodytes with honky tonks with rebel flags and wooden native american statues out front!

Honky tonks called "Microsoft!" wudever thet thar mains.

Don't come here, unwashed masses!!! There's nothing for you!

My son is nearly three. He is already in kindergarten, and loves it. He knows the alphabet and is starting to learn bo-po-mo-fo, can speak Mandarin and English, and is getting introduced to addition and subtraction. The kindergarten sends a different book home with him each week from their library, which is then read at home and at kindy.

They focus on art, with pottery, painting, drawing and crafts. He comes home each week with a new thing he made. He starts at eight in the morning, and leaves at seven at night.

He does 100 piece jigsaw puzzles at school and home.

Discipline is clear and firm. There are no grey areas.

He has two nap-times, and three meals.

When we pick him up, he is happy. He is happy when we drop him off.

I walk past the playground sometimes during the morning, and always see happy children playing well together.

I live in Taiwan.

This is his school

They don't send kids home. They deal with them fairly, but firmly.

I think politics threads should be made out of porcelain and have a metal handle for the hide/flush function. Once clicked, it should release some nice air freshener. Lavender, perhaps. If not, then simply a lit match icon so people know not to go in there.

Paizo Employee (Assistant Software Developer)

You know, political threads are volatile enough without wandering all over the map in terms of what is actually being discussed.

Keep this thread on topic, please. If you want to discuss some other topic, create a thread for it.

Actually, first ask yourself if a gaming website is best venue for such a discussion.

GOOD MORNING TO ALL MY BEAUTIFUL FAWTLY Folk!!!! Happy Friday!!!! Beautiful day here in Philly - high of low 70s and plenty of sun! Perfect weather to go sit in a dark theater and see comic book legends on the silver screen.

Got my birthday present from my wife and kid - a painting from this website called allpopart.com. It shows Charlie as Batman and me as the Joker. They must have used an actual picture of us. It's interesting.

On the other hand, yesterday at my FLGS, I bought some more Pathfinder minis for myself - got a Minotaur, a guardsman, the iconic paladin, and one other I can't remember at the moment.

Then when I stopped at Popeyes and ordered my 3 strip dinner, I had to wait about 10 minutes for it. When they finally brought it out, I had like 7 or 8 strips in the box. So that made lunch and a small dinner! Huzzah!

And I watched part one of the Fringe season finale!
** spoiler omitted **

Hey, did I miss a birthday? Happy birthday man!!!!
No, you didn't miss it. I turned 40 today.

Happy birthday man!... Well, yesterday but still. :D

I have forbidden Solnes from going to Kohl's. So she only gets there about 3-4 times a week. :P

Did you guys take pictures of your outing?

It would be worthwhile so that FHDM's visage can be lifted and included in a Mt. Rushmore photoshop along with luminaries Brown, Whedon, and Zuckerberg.

Scaly. See all of our Golarion art for reference.

If I preferred them furry, then our kobolds would be furry. I have that level of power.

So I think the cat wants my attention. I am laying here reading my book, absently scratching his head. And when I stop scratching he bites the corner of my book....... needy freaking animal. Funny thing is he has always been the more aloof "I don't need you human" type animal. All up until the husband left for the field season 2 weeks ago, now it's glued to my side. Weird freaking animal.

Morning!! Had fun babysitting last night with the wife... Neighborhood kids came over to help and eat all our food. There was one moment where my wife and I looked at each other as all the kids were eating at the table and we shared a moment. We may be starting a family of our own soon.

Still waiting for an episode showcasing a day-in-the-life of a walker

Apparently you missed the entire series The Osbournes. It's a story about a walker and the family who refuses to acknowledge that he's dead. He continuously shuffles about and moans incoherently, but the family just thinks he's old and cranky.

Also finished the map for level 1 of my PaizoCon dungeon adventure. And I'm considering shrinking level 2 down a bit so that the whole thing is too much.

If Taig is playing a halfling in this adventure, a second level will not be necessary.

he'll tpk the rest of the group with time to spare.

I won't play a halfling, even though I managed to successfully keep from causing PC death with my halfling cavalier at PaizoCon last year.

No, this time I plan to play...a gnome.

See I think I'm the only person my age in North america who doesn't own one of the damned things. In fact I make fun of them walking along hunched over staring at their hands bumping into walls and poles. Huh brainless zombies.

Sitting here watching Monkees clips on YouTube

When the world and I were young, just yesterday,
Life was such a simple game, a child could play.
It was easy then to tell right from wrong,
Easy then to tell weak from strong,
When a man should stand and fight or just go along.
But today there is no day or night,
Today there is no dark or light,
Today there is no black or white, only shades of gray.

R.I.P Davy..Miss you man

I think this is an excellent example of starting a thread intended to create controversy and engender flamewars.

But, more importantly, no sane and reasonable person should care about the existence of NCIS as a show. Cancellation would be an even better addition to the team.

Dhampir, I'm not sure if it is your intention to insult the RPG Superstar voters, but that is what you are doing. Essentially, you are suggesting that the forum community does not know how to vote, and if we voted more like you this competition would be better off.

Don't question the motives of the people who voted in the competition. You don't know why they voted the way they did.

Turn your energy toward advocating for contestants you feel should win. Casting aspersions on people who voted for contestants you do not care for does not help anybody.
