I'm not sure which sort of shield you intend to use, beware that, while using Weapon Finesse, you take the Armor Check Penalty of any shields you use as a penalty to your attack rolls.

Benefit: With a light weapon, elven curve blade, rapier, whip, or spiked chain made for a creature of your size category, you may use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on attack rolls. If you carry a shield, its armor check penalty applies to your attack rolls.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this. No idea what I'd be interesting in putting forward, but I could figure something out reasonably quickly.

I really like the lasher. That said, there are a few problems I can see. THere are only 5 whip tricks you get over your career, and some don't have a chance of being picked up. Take, for instance, Reckless Whip and Deadly Whip. I don't see those two ever being taken, when you can just take Whip Mastery, a feat most, if not all, whip users are going to be taking, not to mention the fact that Deadly Whip doesn't even give you the ability to deal nonlethal damage.

Other than that, there are some really cool abilities, and I'd love to play one. I think, next time I'm joining something, I'm going to see if this would be allowed. I've always wanted to make a dual-whip user, but the mechanics never really jived with the concept.

It's looking to be an interesting day.

Thing is, once I got you, I had the eyes. Still a no go.

Honestly, if you were the teacher, I would hat being the pupil. ;P

I see what you did there. And I'm normally an okay teacher, just not about eyes, apparently.

Well, once you figure it out, you may be enlightened as how you too may temporarily become a pair of eyes and a line. Then, you may see the way.

Have, not get. You have to be born with the eyes, or manifest them later in life, how about that. Does that make it clearer? :P

Ow. That was rude.

You've got to have the eyes.

Ooh, Downrightamazed, I see what you did there.

That phrase takes on new layers of significance in a conversation where zombies have been mentioned.

Fair enough, but the fact remains.

Eh. I see my email before I even see Paizo, let alone my campaign tracker. Heck, I see it before I see my browser window.

So close, 'Sima.

Looks like it'll work well. What is your second bloodline going to be, and what curse are you going to take for your Oracle level?

Welcome. Be ready to be watched.

Indeed. I see you, bird. I may not know what you're playing at, yet, but I see you.

I see. Alright then, just curious.

Seems reasonable to me.

:P

Not a problem.

Still watching you, though. Tricksy DMses.

:/

Sure it is.

I'm watching you.

I'm ready to see this go down.

Does Cure Light cure poison? Can't recall. Anyway, he'll cast whatever's needed.

Cure Light does nothing for poison. Neutralize Poison, on the other hand, does.

Edit: Ninja'd

That's about what I was thinking. Okay, thank you.

What would a good general level for a teacher be?

I'm working on that Magus/monk I was talking about earlier, and pre-epic, if he needs to jump and spends a round on it, he has a +99 modifier to Jump checks, both vertical and horizontal. that means minimum 25 feet high, or 100 feet wide. Honestly, I laughed about this, as it's pretty insane. It's not broken, by any means, it's just jump checks, but I still find it funny. the Character will probably vault using his quarterstaff anyway.

Speaking of which, Lyn, a few things. Are you going to allow the bladebound archetype to affect the quarterstaff, making it an intelligent weapon and giving a few other goodies; if so, how would you have it advance past 20?

I've got an idea clunking around me noggin, but I'm not going to really flesh it out as of now. In any case, I'm thinking Gestalt Monk/Staff Magus, and if allowed, the Bladebound archetype modified to a Black Staff instead of a blade. Could make for an interesting character. Just wanted to put this down somewhere so I wouldn't forget.

Edit: Now that I think about it, this sounds like a pretty cool Teacher. Not sure how I'd even build that, but Me Gusta.

As am I, although I don't have any money for me, even.

I'm in the Paizochat, with some of the site devs, and they've apparently got something big coming up.

No details, though. I'll keep an eye out.

Site's gonna go down soon, thought I should put in a warning.

If you're wondering how I am aware, I have connections.

How the....

When you confirm a crit, usually you roll damage twice.

I was just about to post that.

Anyone else think of the Harry Potter scene where we see Malfoy the Bouncing Ferret?

That's exactly what I thought of when I saw what was posted.

I've been watching it, and it looks a lot better now than it did at first. The first version was way too powerful. Even now, it's pretty powerful, but IMO, it's fairly balanced.

So I think I found out why most pathfinder DMs do not allow 3.5 stuff in their games. You can make some very scary things.

Yeah, I've seen that happen.

That would be Meepo, out of the D20 Modern ruleset. I forget which specific book he's in, though.

I just watched that series a few weeks back. Good stuff.

I'm here to keep an eye on everyone.
