So I was looking to get a few dice and saw that this site offered pounds of dice from chessex and thought I would like that. But then I noticed this. After watching Gamers 2 Dorkness Rising I thought I would be a fan boy and buy the slightly more expensive one and get the bag.
Bad idea.
1st off, by comparison the material looks way more flimsy that the photo leads the seller to be and it's not even ivory or even plain while. It's an off yellow. Kind of like a nicotine stain.
2ndly the selection was absolutely miserable. Here's what I got
11 d2's (Who needs 11 d2's)
9 d4's (7 of which were the Homer Simpson D'oh Dice)
82 d6's (Who in their right mind needs 82 d6's not to mention that over 60-70% of them were small plain white die with nothing more than black dots)
30 d8's (Way too many here as well)
8 d10's (could have used a few more)
0 percentiles (except for the one written below)
0 d12's (except for the one written below)
10 d20's (6 of them were identical)
but there were a grand total of 5 die out of the norm
4 Barrel Die (2d20's, 1d12 & 1 percentile)
and 1 metallic die (a d10)
not to mention that 90% of the regular die were plain and boring with little to no cool features at all. At least 50% or more of the bag were white die.
If I had have know this was what I would have never even though of getting this.
I rate this 1 star... Only because they don't have an option for zero or negative stars.
Shoulda got the chessex bag.
