Paizo Publishing Makes Inc Magazine's Top 5000
Paizo Ranks on Inc.'s 2013 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America
Paizo Publishing, LLC, publisher of the world's best-selling Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, is pleased to announce today it has ranked for the first time on Inc. magazine's Top 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America.
"For 32 years, Inc. has welcomed the fastest-growing private companies in America into a very exclusive club. Make no mistake: The Inc. 5000 was harder to get into this year than ever in its history," says Eric Schurenberg, Inc.'s Editor in Chief. "The median company on the list increased sales more than 140 percent since the start of 2010, while the average honoree grew a mind-boggling 468 percent. Those are results most companies only dream of in the economy of the past three years."
Coming in at #2370, Paizo Publishing, LLC joins prior years' upstarts such as Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Timberland, Clif Bar, Patagonia, Oracle, and dozens other notable recent Top 5000 alumni.
"We are thrilled to be recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S.," said Lisa Stevens, CEO of Paizo Publishing. "I am proud of our team here at Paizo, and thank our fans for making Pathfinder the #1 roleplaying game in the world!"
Paizo launched its newest game, the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Rise of the Runelords Edition, at the Gen Con game convention last week in Indianapolis. The game sold out in the first four hours of the show, and anticipation is high for the forthcoming expansion, to be released in October 2013.
