Shiver Me Timbers, New Pathfinder Battles: Skull & Shackles Minis Bring the Adventure of the High Seas to Your Tabletop
From Paizo Publishing, LLC, leading publisher of fantasy roleplaying games, novels, game accessories and board games, and WizKids/NECA, Inc. comes Pathfinder Battles: Skull & Shackles, scheduled for release summer 2013.
Pathfinder Battles: Skull & Shackles is a stunning set of prepainted plastic miniatures, featuring 55 all-new sculpts drawn from the gorgeous art in the Pathfinder Adventure Path: Skull & Shackles. The minis will be available in standard four-figure booster packs, containing one large figure and three medium or small figures (MSRP $15.99), as well as the standard booster 8-count brick with 32 figures total, MSRP $114.99.
The new figures support Paizo's popular Skull & Shackles Pathfinder Adventure Path, a 6-adventure campaign that casts players as the crew of a pirate ship battling for supremacy on the high seas. The set will feature several popular fantasy creatures that have never previously appeared in prepainted plastic, making the set a must-have for miniatures collectors and an essential accessory for seafaring play. All six Skull & Shackles Pathfinder Adventure Path volumes, as well as numerous support accessories, are currently available at stores worldwide.
Retailers who order a full case of Pathfinder Battles: Skull & Shackles figures qualify to purchase the set's Gargantuan Skeletal Dragon promotional figure, a massive undead beast produced in extremely limited quantities. Paizo.com case subscribers can also qualify to purchase this very rare figure.
"Avast, me hearties, and hoist the black flag for Skull & Shackles miniatures," says Paizo Publisher Erik Mona. "We're thrilled to bring out this new set for fantasy gamers. Folks have been asking for prepainted pirate figures and aquatic creatures since we launched the Pathfinder Battles line, and this new set delivers more excitement than the sight of the king's treasure fleet on the horizon!"
