Paizo Announces Full Schedule of Events For Gen Con 2007
Limited Pathfinder™ blocks to be run by Mona, Jacobs, and others
Paizo Publishing® announced a complete lineup of events for Gen Con 2007 today. Gen Con is the largest hobby gaming convention in the U.S. and will be held August 16–19 in Indianapolis, Ind. at the Indiana Convention Center.
Paizo's events at the show include seminars, panels, prize-filled board game sessions, tabletop sessions, roleplaying blocks GMed by industry veterans, as well as special events planned at Paizo's booth in the dealer hall.
Also planned at the Paizo booth is a full schedule of gaming celebrity signings headlined by Dungeons & Dragons® co-creator, Gary Gygax. Gygax, a Guest of Honor at this year's Gen Con, will be on hand to sign copies of his novel The Anubis Murders being published under Paizo's new trade paperback science fiction and fantasy line, Planet Stories™. Other authors and artists on hand for signings include Wayne Reynolds (Pathfinder cover artist), Nicolas Logue (GameMastery Module D1: Crown of the Kobold King), James Jacobs (Pathfinder #1: "Burnt Offerings" and Pathfinder Editor-in-Chief), Jason Bulmahn (GameMastery Module W1: Conquest of Bloodsworn Vale), F. Wesley Schneider (Pathfinder: Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide), Erik Mona (Pathfinder #1: "Pathfinder's Journal"), and more!
"I'm excited to see everyone's reaction to Pathfinder and the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path," said James Jacobs, Pathfinder's Editor-in-Chief. "From readers being able to view the product for the first time to players experiencing a snapshot of the adventure in play at one of our Pathfinder demos, it's going to be an exciting Gen Con for Paizo."
