Paizo Publishing, LLC Announces New Product Line

Products Designed to Provide Useful Tools for GameMasters

Paizo Publishing, LLC, publisher of special-interest gaming and entertainment magazines DRAGON and DUNGEON is pleased to announce the launch of an exciting new product line. The GameMastery™ line—conceived by the editorial staff of DRAGON® and DUNGEON® magazines, and designed by some of the hottest names in the gaming industry—will help GameMasters provide a richer experience for their players while streamlining their setup and administration time.

“This new product line brings together the deep creative experience and talent of our editorial staff with our understanding of what it takes to shine as a GameMaster,” said Erik Mona, editor-in-chief of DRAGON and DUNGEON magazines.

Paizo’s management team—including Lisa Stevens, Bob Watts, and Keith Strohm—has over 75 years of experience in the industry, having held key leadership positions on such brands as Magic: The Gathering®, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS®, Warhammer 40,000®, Warhammer Fantasy®, and the Pokémon® trading card game, and will work directly with Paizo’s creative team to produce this new line of products.

The GameMastery line will debut in the summer of 2005 with Compleat Encounter: Dark Elf Sanctum ($14.95), which offers GameMasters everything they need to run a complete short encounter—including unique high-quality metal miniatures, four double-sided map cards that join together to form a gridded encounter map, and a complete encounter utilizing the Open Gaming License—all in one package.

“We are delighted to offer the GameMastery line as the first step in our new publishing venture and feel that this will further enhance our reputation as a top producer of quality roleplaying material,” said Lisa Stevens, CEO of Paizo Publishing.

A complete schedule for the GameMastery line will be released shortly after the GAMA Trade Show in Las Vegas, March 14-17.
