Paizo Publishing Appoints Keith Strohm Chief Operating Officer

Jeff Alvarez Promoted to Director of Operations

Paizo Publishing, LLC, publisher of special interest gaming and entertainment magazines Dragon®, Dungeon®, Undefeated® and Amazing Stories™, is pleased to announce today the promotion of Keith Strohm, formerly Vice President and Circulation Manager of Paizo Publishing, to the position of Chief Operating Officer.

"Over the last eight months, Keith Strohm has done an outstanding job improving the infrastructure and overall management of Paizo," says Lisa Stevens, co-owner and CEO of Paizo Publishing. "This important position will be key to achieving our goals and reflects my faith in Keith's leadership abilities to bring to light the future of Paizo Publishing."

In his new role, Strohm will oversee the day-to-day operations of Paizo Publishing, LLC, and assume the duties associated with Publisher. This promotion also alleviates many of Paizo Publishing CEO Lisa Stevens' day-to-day duties, freeing her to concentrate on the strategic growth of the business.

"Last month Paizo Publishing relaunched our flagship magazines, Dragon and Dungeon, and introduced Amazing Stories magazine to the twenty-first century," continues Stevens. "We've got some exciting new ventures coming down the pike and we look to announce some of them at Gen Con Indy. This shift of some of my daily responsibilities to Keith Strohm will enable me to focus my energies on the development of new business opportunities that will ultimately strengthen Paizo and contribute to the gaming industry."

Also announced today, Jeff Alvarez has been promoted to Director of Operations for Paizo Publishing. Prior to this appointment, Jeff served as Operations Manager for Paizo since mid-2003. "Jeff has been an amazing asset to Paizo Publishing and I couldn't be more pleased to promote him at this time," says Stevens.
