Giochi Uniti to Publish Pathfinder in Italian
Comprehensive license to cover all Paizo Publishing Pathfinder Brands
Paizo Publishing proudly announces that it has entered a licensing arrangement with Italian publisher and game distributor Giochi Uniti to publish and distribute Pathfinder Roleplaying Game products in Italian. Giochi Uniti takes over the Italian-language Pathfinder license from Paizo's previous publishing partner, Wyrd Edizioni.
Giochi Uniti plans to release updated editions of the entire Pathfiner print catalogue, including the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook, Bestiary 2, and the Council of Thieves Adventure Path in 2012, followed by additional Pathfinder releases.
“We are very pleased to bring the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game to the Italian audience,” said Giochi Uniti President Silvio Negri-Clementi. “Paizo's high production values, beautiful art, and imaginative game products perfectly match Giochi Uniti's dedication to bringing the finest American and European games to the Italian market.”
“We're thrilled to work with Giochi Uniti to bring Pathfinder to the Italy,” said Paizo Publishing Publisher Erik Mona. “Their proven track record with some of the strongest brands in international gaming and strong knowledge of Italian-language markets make them a natural local champion of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.”
The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game is a fully supported tabletop RPG, with regularly released adventure modules, sourcebooks on the fantastic world of Golarion, and complete campaigns in the form of Pathfinder Adventure Paths like Skull & Shackles and The Rise of the Runelords. The Pathfinder RPG is also compatible with the 3.5 edition of the world’s oldest roleplaying game.
