Could the art used on these covers be sold as prints by Paizo, or by the artist (Andrew Hou, I believe)? I would love to have several of these based on what has been posted (especially Black God's Kiss).

I have been collecting old fantasy paperbacks and intend to display them face out in my future study/den/studio/gameroom/discussion salon/hideout. Having modestly sized prints of these covers would be perfect for the feel I want in "my space".

I know you guys are busy, but I just thought I'd throw the idea out there as you guys do a damned fine job of taking customer desires and making them happen. Especially the really great ideas like this one. Right? Right?

I second the motion. Well worth having.

I'll put a vote in for yes, love the cover art. I'm not much into reading novels & such these days, but I'd get those for the artwork (something similar to what Age of Worms art print would be nice).

We'll consider this idea, as well as the idea of a calendar featuring some of this art. Right now the closest thing to art prints of these covers we have are three postcards featuring the covers of The Anubis Murders, City of the Beast, and Black God's Kiss. They aren't for sale, though. We hand them out at conventions and send them to stores to hand out.

We'll consider the prints idea.

I never liked the AoW print. Too green.

I really do like the covers, though, I would be good for a calendar or a print of two.

I just received my Holiday Day shipment, and it included the Black God's Kiss postcard. Beeyootiful.

I'd love get my hands on postcards for all the covers.

I think I have the whole set of postcards now. They're pretty nice as bookmarks. These would be cool to buy as a 6-pack (whenever planet stories has that many books and postcards out).

Are you guys going to put any more of these postcards out? I was really digging getting one with my paizo shipments. Hell, I look forward to those great little prints half as much as the stories themselves.

One of the postcards came with a few of my shipments, and I didn't get one in my last shipment. This made me a little sad.
Also, any news on Yeah/Nay on prints of these covers?

I am hoping that we get back to the postcards soon.

I really like the idea of a calendar. Calendar's make a great poor man's print. I would love to see some of the Planet Stories Art gracing my game room.

Just wanted to add my voice to say that I would also love to get my hands of prints of the some of the various PS covers if you ever decide to make them available for sale.

Thats pretty cool!

Very cool!

It's weird (to me) to see some of the mock-up covers mixed in with the finished books on there, but it's neat to see everything in a big collage like that!

Thanks. :)

Have to wait till you put out the actual secret covers to include them though. :)

Awesome! Seeing all the covers in together in one place is a nice reminder of why we do this....

Another thing

You can the most humongous list of avatar/icons for the messageboards - no Planet Stories ones I remember seeing? Logos/covers, etc?

Hmm... Planet Stories avatars... I'll mention the idea to Gary and see what we can get. Thanks!

Just wanted to add that I would love it if the covers could be made into prints/calanders.
Would really like to see prints of the "Almuric", and "Black God's Kiss".

Don't forget our xmas present here Paizoids, Paizombies, Paizolems? What is your collective noun?

:)

A great artist with a nice pulpy feel to some of his works. :D

Resurrecting an old thread to see if there's been anymore discussion about prints based on Planet Stories covers.

I think it's a fabulous idea!

Just a suggestion.... I have bought posters from This Place.

They have some great pulp and old sci fi covers from back in the day. The printing quality ain't top notch but they look pretty good framed.
