Yeah, I was fairly pleased to see that, as any exposure is helpful. I definitely sympathize with Morgan about not seeing the books in Barnes & Noble, but that chain has started buying the books more regularly lately, so I'm hoping that he continues to see the books in his local stores.

Just about every B&N I've been to in the last few months has had copies of Steppe, Almuric, the Moorcock books, some of the Bracketts and a few Kuttners. Merritt was showing up for a while, but I haven't seen it on the shelves in recent weeks.

My wife recently special ordered Outlaws of Mars at a B&N for a gift for me, and when she picked it up, they said several people had been asking about Planet Stories books lately. (unfortunately, none were on the shelves.)

Always great to hear stuff like that!

My local B&N also had Steppe. I have also found Planet Stories at Books a Million but it's been hit and miss.

At my local Barnes and Noble, and Borders, I always see a copy of Almuric on the shelf, and have seen this for the last year plus. I dunno if it is the same copy not selling, but they never seem to have more than one. I recently have seen Steppe and some of the Moorecock stuff. Also the B&N has the PFRPG Core Rulebook, and Bestiary. But this is the same B&N that has had a beat up copy of Classic Monsters Revisited in their video game section(strategy guides) for a couple years.

For some reason I imagine Sutter fist pumping after he typed that.

He then froze in mid-air while "Don't You (Forget About Me)" played over the closing credits

I was pleased to see Piers Anthony's STEPPE on prominent display at the local Barnes & Noble this weekend.

I have to admit it was really pleasing to see it stick out on the shelf from more than 30 feet away thanks to the big bright red logo on it.

Here's hoping it draws more attention to the line!
