He leads Stiggy northwards, through the hallways, into a longish seacave, and onto a beach bordering the waterway there.
There's a fifteen foot dock, and a rowboat; he gets in.
"I want to show you something....."
he rows the boat to the entrance to the seacave, then stops.
The mouth of the cave opens onto solid white fog; you can't see anything at all.
"I....assume that, exiting this cave here is.....the upper world....however,.....this fog won't allow me to penetrate it....
Um, you, being from the surface, I wanted your opinion: is this normal? I have no experience on which to judge."

Oso's nauseated by the punch; Gittik saves from the kick.
Though the hobniz can tell it hurts, it just makes him madder, and his pelvis isn't shattered; his whole groin just feels like it's being stabbed by a thousand darning needles.

Did Oso include the +2 bardic bonus? If not, he just made it.

I don't think he did; since he had a +10 on his roll, and his "fort" is +10.
I'm pretty sure that the bardic music is acting as sonic phenergan and taking the nausea away.....

Altai blasts a freak monk with a faceful of fire.
No move. I'm casting Scorching ray on the monk Gittik hit last round. Ray 1: 12+7+2(bard)+1(haste)=touch AC 22, damage 13+2(bard)=15. Ray 2: 10+7+2(bard)+1(haste)=touch AC 20, damage 12+2(bard)=14.

The two blasts connect, turning his face into a tomato peeling in the heat. He almost keeps his composure, but the pain is too much; he shrieks and through the trepanation hole his brain sizzles and spits just a little.
He fights on, though he is somewhat wounded.
Pip, Altai went; everybody else is up to bat.

Yep, thanks chaps. Just saved thanks to Pip's vocals.
Oso whips the sword across the face of the monk before him twice.
Voidwand first attack 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (13) + 14 = 27, damage 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 and second attack 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27, damage 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Between friendlies and freaky monks its pretty crowded in the entry vestibule. Throwing lightning in would cause Gittik or Oso a bad day, so Beldan chooses to try to shoot through the melee at the barkeep.
Beldan takes three shots (thanks to haste), reloading as free thanks to Rapid Reload.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (8) + 17 = 25 Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Attack 2: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (3) + 17 = 20 Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Attack 2: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17 Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
The above take into bonuses due to haste and bardic music, but I have not factored in cover penalties. I figure these shots will be at somewhere between –4 and –8.

The monk in c1 flurry blows Gittik; missing the dodgy hobniz 4 times.
Baldy behind the bar tries to plug Gittik with another bolt.
"1" rolled. The string on his crossbow snaps broken. He curses. A skillful curse. Throws the crossbow at Gittik. An unskillful throw.
The other two flurry on Oso; two hits out of eight swings.
Oso takes 29 h.p. in damage from the two blows.

I'm a really bad monk-fighter - with good saves and evasion, I don't have much that gets to them. So here's another Scorching ray using my Pearl of power II. Ray 1: 11+7+2(bard)+1(haste)=touch AC 21, damage 14+2(bard)=16. Ray 2: 9+7+2(bard)+1(haste)=touch AC 19, damage 11+2(bard)=13. I'm starting on the guy that got hacked by Oso; if he goes down, the next ray goes on the monk not critted by Gittik.

Just for clarification; "the one hacked by Oso" and the one "not critted by Gittik" I had assumed were one and the same; that would've made sense to me to do it that way....concentrate on one at a time if possible...
He takes two more blasts of fire, but does not fall. He looks like Freddy Kruger though, if he just got out of an HCl shower with 50 cats tied to him.
Elgan/Beldan/Gittik/Oso/Pip are up to bat.

I'm a voodoo man,
Oh I'm an ape man ..."

Dire-Druid nods his wolf's head in beat with Pip's lively tune, obviously approving of either the tune, or his choice of animal. Or both.
Waving one paw to direct another bolt of lightning from his personal thunderhead, Bolt at one in front of Oso, 3d6
3d6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 4, 3) + 2 = 12
The wolfen-druid moves up behind the warrior priest, rears up on his hind legs, and towering over Oso, reaches past him to snap and claw at his 3-eyed opponent.
Using my large reach to aid Oso while staying out of the way! :)
Bite, Dmg, Paw #1, Dmg, Paw #2, Dmg, Hasted bonus Bite, Dmg
1d20 + 10 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 10 + 2 + 2 = 29

1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 + 2 = 18

The cleave is not to be; Oso's secondary swing back, though, sinks in on the forearm of monk that just blocked his sword twice, showing his radius and ulna naked to the world but for a gown of spraying blood.

their attack;

One monk flurries on Gittik.
Gittik gets elbowed in the face but good once for 12 h.p.
The other monk flurries on Oso;
Oso's good steel armor stands up to it.
Three roguish chaps with crossbows leveled step from the sids to c4, d3, and e3; firing at Gittik, Oso, and Elgan;
Gittik's foe....breaks a string (1).
Oso gets critted; and hit again.
13 in damage and save d.c. fort 20 or Oso loses 2 points of constitution from poison!
Elgan gets hit once; 8 h.p. in damage and also a d.c. fort 20 save or Elgan loses 6 points of constitution!
The second one, the guys' bowstring broke (1 fumble).
So.....
Gittik's @ d6, Oso's @e6, Elgan's crammed in there.....(heh heh I'm going with it; he shouldn't fit but hell with it.)
Altai's @ e7, and pip and beldan are right outside the door...
a monk at c5, a monk at f5, roguish types at c4, d3, and e3, and baldy at e1 behind the bar.
Group's attack.....

"Enough of this crap. It's time to stop playing nice..."
Great - more dodgy types... I'm casting Confusion centered on CD 3-4 intersection. That hits all of them - Will 21 or act strangely for a while.
