Description: San Diego Comic-Con is a world famous Comic Book and other Fan
Media convention. It is something that has to be experienced to be
Believed with over 70,000 attendees a year.

Paizo has graciously offered to sponsor the Pathfinder Society gaming
at Comic-Con 2010. That means in addition to Paizo's marvelous
Pathfinder Society games we will have prizes available for both judges and
players. We will be supporting all available levels of play. This may be one
of your few chances for level 12 play.

Once again in 2010 WotC will be supporting WPN play at Comic-Con. It's too
early to say exactly what, but it will most likely include a premiere LFR
adventure or two as well as some convention only material. Additionally,
there's the chance of prize support. We'll know more as we get closer, but
if you want to attend, don't wait.

Unfortunately, Comic-Con is incredibly popular and the four day full-con
badges are already sold out. The single day badges are scheduled to go on
sale December 15th, 2009, and we expect them to sell out quickly as well.

Events:
All levels of Pathfinder Society and Living Forgotten Realms play will be
supported each day of the convention. More details will be provided as they
become available, stay tuned as we may have some special treats lined up for
you!

Schedule:
A full schedule of games will be available on the web site:
http://www.warhorn.org/ComicCon2010/schedule/day.php

Thanks for your attention and my apologies to those of you who receive this
multiple times.

Tom Kee - WPN D&D Coordinator

I've never been before. Would I need an actual Comic-Con pass to play in the Pathfinder games? Or is there such thing as an RPG-only pass?

Comic-Con is a very unique experience with lots of very interesting people / events / presentations / previews / panels. If you haven't been to a Comic-Con and you don't have problems with large crowds, I'd recommend going.

Unfortunately you would need to purchase a one-day pass (or acquire a four-day pass, more on that later in the post) to attend Comic-Con and take advantage of the gaming

With approximately 140,000 people attending Comic-Con 2009 it wasn't that surprising that the 4-day passes were sold out by the week of 11/2/09.

If you are thinking of attending I would strongly advise buying your one-day tickets as early as possible (one-day tickets go on sale on 12/15/2009) as I expect that Comic-Con 2010 will have close to 150,000 people attending.

Last year passes that had been previously returned and refunded were sold in the final weeks before the convention through Comic-Con's official eBay channel. I do not know that this will happen again this year but if you miss out on getting the passes you wanted you might have another chance.

Eric W. Brittain - Comic-Con 2010 Pathfinder Society Organized Play Coordinator
