Uncle's Games at Redmond Town Center has "RPG Day" from 1-5 on Sundays, nothing formal going on there, but I'd like to try and get a PFS thing going there every Sunday. Really short notice as I just found out about it, but Ill probably be sitting there this Sunday in an effort to DM a scenario from 12-5 (although Ill absolutely have to leave at 5 this week). If you're interested, please email me at cdtslider at gmail dot com. Hopefully I can recruit some people while Im there, although honestly I have no clue how to go about that...

The scenario will be Mists of Mwangi.

Im going to ask the store to advertise PFS for next week as well, hopefully it will take off!

Iconic Wizard avatar

Awesome! Did you know that the Seattle Mob runs a PFS day there once a month? Have you contact them to see if they would help you run it weekly?

Chris Jarvis aka thelesuit ** (Venture-Captain, Washington—Seattle)

Elf

Actually, the Seattle Mob game days are on the 2nd Saturday at Genesis Games and Gizmos.

If you are looking for local players you might try the Mob's Yahoo Group.

I hate it when I mix my game stores!

Hey, lesuit, would the mob be interested in me showing up one of those Saturdays?

Josh, what are you doing on Saturday, February 13th?

If you are interested in coming to the Game Day we would love to have you GM.

Hey CJ,

I'll have to check my calendar at home to see. I'll get back to you. What scenarios are you planning to run?

Well...what would you like to GM? We haven't actually committed to GM'ing any particular modules at this point. Most of the PCs at the Mob Gameday Pathfinder tables are fairly low level though.

CJ.

Iconic Wizard avatar

I could probably run #29, assuming all of your current players haven't already played that one. What time do you run?

Iconic Wizard avatar

Hey CJ,

I have a photoshoot on the 13th (I'm a freelance photographer on the weekends), but it's possible I can do both the shoot and the game day depending on the timing for both. What time do you plan to start the tables on the 13th?

Chris Jarvis aka thelesuit ** (Venture-Captain, Washington—Seattle)

Elf
Joshua J. Frost wrote:

We run two slots. The first runs from 11:30 till 4pm, the second from 5 till 9pm.

You could run #29 in either slot (some folks have played it, but we could probably muster a table of those who haven't).

CJ

Venster Arabasti

As an aside to the asides, I will be running PFS #11,"The Third Riddle" at Uncle's Games at Redmond Town Center this coming Sunday (Jan 31).
Tier will be 1-3 and it will begin noon-ish and hopefully be done by 5-ish.
Post here or email me at cdtslider at gmail dot com if interested.

Chris Jarvis aka thelesuit ** (Venture-Captain, Washington—Seattle)

Elf

The schedule is up for this Saturday's Seattle Mob Game Day at Genesis Games and Gizmos here.

We will be running

Slot 1 (11:30 to 4PM)
PFS #24: Decline of Glory

Slot 2 (5-9PM)
PFS #13: Prince of Augustina

See everyone there.

I'm looking for a couple of judges to run PFS scenarios at the Seattle Mob Game Day on Saturday, April 10th @ Genesis Games and Gizmos in Redmond.

Anyone interested?

CJ

Chris Jarvis aka thelesuit ** (Venture-Captain, Washington—Seattle)

Elf

Still looking for an extra or spare judge.

The plan is to go retrograde for our new local players. We will be running...

PFS 1: Silent Tide

and

PFS 2: Hydra's Fang Incident.

The fun starts at 11:30 at Genesis Games and Gizmos in Redmond.

It is looking like I will need a second GM to run a table in each slot.

We have had an upsurge in interest in this!!

I will talk to Tim and see if we can figure out something so i can run if we need a second GM. It should be fine since some of the upwelling of players is due to his Zealous evangelism. Id be comfortable running the first two in the Devil We Know or the Pallid Plague or Mists of Mwangi. I dont have any of these but i could get em.

oh and if you find someone else to run put me down for the second slot.

Yes, I still need assistance in both slots.

I would really appreciate it if you GM'ed the first two in The Devil We Know series in the first and second slots.

As near as I can tell we have somewhere around 9 players signed-up for the first slot, and probably nearly as many for the second.

Saturday's Mob Game Day went surprisingly well. We ended up running 4 sessions in two slots -- big thanks to Koresh/Garrett for stepping up to GM. I think we had eight brand new PFS players!!

That being said, I'm looking for a couple of Game Masters for the June Game Day, on June 12th (yes, the week before PaizoCon). So if you would like to volunteer to GM, please let me know. The Seattle Mob does offer some small compensation to "new GM's" (basically those who have not judged at the Mob this year).

Please respond to this thread with your availability.

Thanks.

CJ

King of Roses

There is a new Games/Comics store open in Bellevue;Dragon's Lair. I was wondering if anyone lived near by or was planning on running things there.

Venster Arabasti

Hey Thelesuit! Been kind of absent from the Pathfinder scene with school and other wackyness, but I am available for June's Game Day if you're still looking for another GM?

Actually right now you would THE GM at the June Game Day. I won't be able to make it (Cub Scout Pack outing). I'll do some more canvasing and see if I can come up with a second GM though.

What would you like to judge?

CJ

Venster Arabasti

At this point anything 1-7 (pref not 1-5) to max profitability for my PC. /greedy. But whatever works for you guys works for me with the new gm rules.

If its possible, the specific ones Id like to GM are

14, 17, 45, or 49.

Honestly Im trying to get some levels for a character before Paizocon, so I could tentatively do a double shift if the group was willing?

Why don't we plan on having you run #45 and #49.

Based on this, I've switched to #47 for my slot on Sunday morning at PaizoCon the following week. I originally had #45 :)

Artemis Entreri

Hey thelesuit, Any update on the PFS games getting added? Only seeing LFR so far. Not trying to press the issue, just wanted to make sure it wasn't me.

Artemis Entreri

We held our own today amidst the huge LFR crowd... and finished our games way quicker too! The Society's presence shall grow! Good meeting SeattleMOB group today. Good bunch of players, even those LFR'ers :)

Rogue

Ryan,

It was great to have you at the table. Our tri-rogue table did quite well in our two scenarios. Having a higher level healer helped us along a lot! lol! Look forward to seeing you at PaizoCon.

William

Venster Arabasti

Glad you guys could make it, I had a lot of fun GMing! Sorry to Ryan that I never once pronounced Riaghan's name right...I'm absolutely terrible at that stuff ><

Artemis Entreri

No worries. For future reference, it's Ry-uh-gan. At least that's how I've been pronouncing it. Apparently it is where Ryan derives from. Just discovered that a few years ago, but been using a lot of other made up names otherwise. It's prolly my most unoriginal name I've ran with for a character.

What scenarios would folks like to see run at the July 10th Seattle Mob Game Day?

Anything BUT:

PFS 07, Among the Living
PFS 09, Eye of the Crocodile King
PFS 12, Stay of Execution
PFS 45, Delirium's Triangle
PFS 49, Among the Dead
PFS 51, The City of Strangers, Part I: The Shadow Gambit
PFS 52, The City of Strangers, Part I: The Twofold Defense

I should be bringing my daughter, Sam, and her boyfriend with me -- they played Saturday at PaizoCon and had a good time.

William

Artemis Entreri

My list of Anything BUTs are similar to William's.

PFS SP, Master of the Fallen Fortress (
PFS 45, Delirium's Tangle
PFS 47, The Darkest Vengence
PFS 49, Among the Dead
PFS 51, The City of Strangers, Part I: The Shadow Gambit
PFS 52, The City of Strangers, Part I: The Twofold Defense

And yes, PaizoCon rocked.

I've just joined the PFS and I am looking forward to getting involved at the July 10th game. Is there a registration for the event or do we just show up? I don't know if RPGA still does this but if you didn't register on the website you were not guaranteed space in a game; that's why I thought it best to ask here.

Those sound like fun by title alone, CJ. Looking forward to it!

Registration for the PFS tables at the July Mob Game Day is now open here.

Mind, if we get too much interest folks are going to be disappointed as I'm currently the only GM available.

Others GM's are certainly capable of volunteering. *hint* *hint*

I haven't run Pathfinder yet though I have been gearing up to run a campaign and have all the main books. I do have a lot of experience with 3.5 and could give it a go if we needed another gm.

We the players would appreciate it. I'd gladly back step in as an additional player if we do end up with a second GM for that second slot, even if it means the game starts off a little rocky. That's totally forgiving :)

Someday, I might be able to GM, but not yet. Been reading on RPG blogs everywhere, this is not a continual problem exclusive to our group.
