We're running PFS Scenario One: Silent Tide this Saturday at Organized Play, a new game store in downtown Knoxville. We're going to do character creation starting at 10AM.
At the moment, there are two copies of the Pathfinder Core Rules on his shelves. If you're not ready to purchase the rulebook yet, we will be happy to help you make a character or print a pregen for you.
Organized Play* is a full service FLGS located at 221 Cumberland Avenue in downtown Knoxville. Lots of free parking on weekends.
*This store is not affiliated with the organization that oversaw the last few years of the RPGA Living City campaign.

If you can't make it this Saturday, but you're interested, contact the store owner at the link above. Or post here and I can pass your info along.
Thanks!

Awesome news. I'm about 90 miles from Knoxville, have already played this scenario, and have a gaming obligation elsewhere that day; but look forward to joining you some week down the road. I am willing to play and even DM some.

I'm ' actually in the middle of West Knoxville, and the only knowledge of PF support I was aware of in the area was mine and one other group. The FLGS in the local mall has been very pro 4th ed, and while still friendly and the managers a nice guy, they've been sadly dismissive of PF, not ordering the books except, if I'm lucky, for me. I'm open to a 4th ed game, but its not what I'm interested in running. I'm ecstatic to see it's catching on, and will do anything I can to be there. Might have to ditch early for work, but we shall see. Please update this thread with whatever other info becomes pertinent. Thanks!!!

Awesome, Chad and Kithik. We'd love to have you down. Maybe we can run two mods when you come and I'll buy you to lun-per between.
The store owner has heard from a lot of folks. We may have two tables.
We'll make sure everybody that wants to play plays. We may have to have another "slot" at 4 or so.
Give the owner a buzz and let him know if you're going to try to make it so we can make sure everybody has a good experience. I suppose we'll go to Warhorn for the next one.
Kithik, the owner of the mall store you're referring to isn't really gaming anymore. He is more into the business end of it now. He's a great guy, but he doesn't have his finger on the pulse of games anymore. He has kept his doors open while a dozen other game stores have come and gone, so I guess he's doing something right. And he certainly puts the F in the Friendly Local Game Store.

I also want to get in on this. However, Kithik (above) is my fiance, so I may also have to leave early on Saturday. Still wanna play though, even if I can't make it this Saturday.

I had a great time Saturday morning. Fabulous turnout, and really cool people! Elizabeth and Morgan were great hosts.
This Saturday: The Hydra's Fang Incident, PFS Scenario #2
Is an 11 AM "hard" start time for the adventure convenient for everyone? That would put finishing the adventure and beginning paperwork at 2:50 PM, and character creation at 10:30 AM.
I can run "Silent Tide" again Wednesday or Thursday night at 7PM if there are four people who want to play.
P.S. Also, I am planning on starting a Wednesday or Thursday night Pathfinder game. I am eager to run homebrew, Rise of the Runelords, or Legacy of Fire. Let me know if one of those combinations interests you.

Consider both myself and ldhummingbird interested in a Wednesday game, but let me see where my possible new employment takes me. Also Boston, aka Deuce, from the Saturday game said he'd be down, but he doesn't (yet) have an account on here, to my knowledge. My vote is for Rise of the Runelords, but as I've run some of it before, I understand if you'd prefer otherwise. I've just been really wanting to play through it since it first dropped. Not sure If I'll be able to make it this Saturday, but we shall see.

Sadly, I'm out of town for work starting tomorrow, but I'd like to give a weeknight game a go. Work keeps me occupied more Wed. nights than Thurs., but whatever works for the masses. This Saturday I'm also out... just not a good week for gaming.

My wife and I just moved to Lenoir City, last weekend. Both of us are Rp'ers, with several years of experience. I have been playing (mostly running games) for over 25 years, and the wife has been playing for 12 years. Both of us are "Role" players and not super into hack and slash. I have pretty much fallen in love with Pathfinder, since D&D has totally been sold out (imo even 3 & 3.5 was not that bad). I would be willing to start a group, or we would even love to join one.
If it would not be too much trouble, could someone send some directions
to me (start at Lenoir City). (dyarshu@yahoo.com)
Thank you Mike.

At this point, all reporting for the last two Saturdays has been completed. If you played, but the event is not showing up for you, then contact the store and give them your Pathfinder number, character name, and faction. I'll fix it quicker than you can say "CMD = 10 + Base attack bonus + Strength modifier + Dexterity modifier + special size modifier."
This Saturday, October 17th, Murder on the Silken Caravan." Character creation starts at 10AM.
See you there!

Still looking forward to joining you guys when a) time permits and b) there's an adventure running that I am eligible to play. If I am able to start attending on a frequent enough basis, I'll even be happy to do some D/GMing.

We'd love to have you, Chad.

Chad,
First, it was great meeting you (and gaming with you) Monday night.
The current PFS plan, subject to revision, is as follows:
10/31 - PFS #4 - Silken Caravan
11/07 - PFS #5 - Mists of Mwangi
11/14 - PFS #35 - Voice in the Void (new!)
***Thanksgiving***
11/28 - PFS #6 - Black Waters
12/05 - PFS #7 - Among The Living
As always, you're welcome any time.
And for the other folks keeping up with this thread, we were two people short of a table last week. If you're thinking about giving this a try, "Come on down!"
S.M.

Saint Meerkat,
Will balck waters be run on the 21st or the 28th? There's a discrepancy between what you've posted here and what's posted over at Warhorn.
My hope is that it will be on teh 28th as posted here, but I am starting to fear that it will really be on the 21st.
