I'm a player looking for a Pathfinder Society group near Boston, MA. Any GMs out there?

I work in Framingham, and can run people through 5 of the first 6 adventures (I havn't played Silken Caravan yet) if a group gets together and want to run them 6-10 one night (I live in CT so it'd pretty much have to be a after work thing unfortunately) I know there is a group in Cambridge (see the thread in the general pathfinder section about pathfinder in the boston globe) and Totalcon in mansfield is running PFS games the weekend of Feb 19-22 (schedule and preregistration are going up in the next few days) There are also 2 New England PFS yahoo groups set up, one based primarily in lower CT and one mostly (I beleive?) in NH.

my email is e-gendron(at)charter(dot)net if you'd like me to run people through something.

Another place you will want to visit is the Yahoo group PFNE. We are quite active in playing. TotalCon will be a great place to get up to date with the mods. I believe we will be offering most if not all the adventures available.

I'm limited to public transit, so Framingham is out of my range, unfortunately.

I did check out the yahoo group, but I thought I'd post here - at least get a thread started.

Thanks for both your quick replies!

We have a group in Danvers/ Beverly not sure if thats close for you

It's difficult to get to any place outside of 128 via public transit. Unless its close to a commuter rail station.

How often do you play in Beverly/Danvers? I've been looking for a solid game on the north shore.

I don't know if you can get to Nashua but there is going to be a convention there in July. There will be a new thread here soon for OGC, (Open Gaming Con)and by the way I play in the same group as "Tobias"

Happy Birthday too!

I was going to call you after midnight, apparently you were up, but I fell asleep in my living room chair. Now I can't sleep.
I hope you have a good birthday. Let's go see the Celts soon.

Hi all. We have a petty solid group that plays at any 1 of 3 locations: Franklin, Allston, or Burlington. Don Walker runs events in Allston, I host many here in Franklin, and Tim K will be running at Burlington. Please go to PFNE yahoo group for more info, or email me directly. Our regular group players were the ones at Totalcon DMing... and Mike has the leash on getting lots of Pathfinder events ready at OGC in New Hampshire in July.

I will be @ OGC in July, looking to help DM, play or what have you. It will be good to see you there Chris. Maybe I should whip up an evil PC's scenario for off-hours play. You could dust off your evil cleric of pain [I forget the exact god he worshiped] and we can hunt down Mike's elf character from that same adventure, our treasonous guide if you remember, and add him to the menu at our pegasus barbecue...

Hi Carico,

When would you next have a gaming session in franklin MA.

My wife and I were at Total Con and meet a few of your players and had a great time.

Let me know.

Thanks,

Jim

I'm glad this post got bumped. I've been meaning to come back here and see if we could drum up some Pathfinder action!

I'm part of the group that plays in Franklin (and sometimes Bridgewater, MA and Boston). We can usually count on having one solid table. My goal would be to get a few more players interested in the area so we can have more options/availability for more tables to run.

We use a Yahoo Group (PFNE)for organizing games. I believe we might be playing 17 and 18 next weekend. We also have a couple of players wanting to play 15 and 16 at some point.

Where in Bridgewater?

Scholar's - which is in the center of town on the rotary.

Thanks for the info. I live about two miles away. Hmmm...methinks I will check this place out in near future.

I am in Providence RI area, and could do weekends to some of these locations... or if there are enough people in the area we could do something in the Providence, Warwick, or Cranston areas.

The best recommendation I have for people in our region is to join the Yahoo Group PFNE: Pathfinder New England. It is where most of my friends that play coordinate games.

Also, I know quite a few of us plan on running Pathfinder adventures in every slot possible at OGC (Open Gaming Convention) in New Hampshire July 24-26th.

Thanks for the recommendation. I joined up yesterday.

Sorry I am a very infrequent board visitor. We try to play every two weeks. Sometimes that falls apart in the summer, but it can become weekly in the winter

As the big date is comming, who needs a game in the danvers beverly area? I could take on a few players, I have two regulars and a host of guest stars

I have been looking for a game close to where I live forever. If you have the space for another player-I'd be into filling it.

Let me know if there's room.

We might be playing the 15th ( talked my shadowrun group into what I am calling "high school d&d night",) we are all old now ( ok 30ish ) and we're gonna play till we pass out, get drunk, or derail....whichever comes first.

I'm in Providence as well, and have been looking for fellow Pathfinders.

Shoot me an e-mail, maybe we can get something together.

I am introducing a bunch of people to pathfinder in a game this Saturday. If anyone is local and wants to play let me know, my email is above.

We do have one weird houserule, we allow 2E style multiclassing. If that puts you off wanted to mention it out in front, and our players can be a hair mercenary.

Grand Lodge *** (Venture-Captain, Massachusetts—Boston)

Just wanted to announce a home game at my place in Boston (Allston).

Sat Sept 26 from 10 am to 6 pm (ish)

Mike Adams (Ulserad) will be judging mods 29 & 30 for
low-level PCs.

To register, join the yahoo PFNE group and go to:

http://www.warhorn.org/GreenDragonTavern/

to sign up for the games.

Posting questions about this event to this thread will
probably not get answers as I only review these boards
quarterly at best.

Don Walker

To bump: Don is hosting a table in Boston on Sept. 26th for Mods #29 and #30.

Additionally we are hoping to get a second group at Scholar's in Bridgewater, MA on Saturday, Sept. 19th. Same two mods, starting at noon. New Pathfinders always welcome! This should end up being a low-level run (I'm bringing a first level cleric).

If anyone is interested you can seek more information at our yahoo group: PFNE, as mentioned by Don above.

Scholar's is a small gaming store that is always selling RPG books at a discount (I think it is usually 10% off list price). I'll probably order the Bestiary through Scholar's and pre-ordering usually gets a better discount from them.

Grand Lodge *** (Venture-Captain, Massachusetts—Boston)

Just wanted to bump this thread again.

We are running PFS mods 29 and 30 on Saturday
Sept. 26, 2009 in Boston.

See previous post for more info.

Don Walker

I'm keeping an eye on this folder as I've just moved here (Quincy) from Los Angeles and am looking for a group to play with. School is in the Back Bay, so I'm all over the place--meaning that I'm willing to travel. I do have a car.

I'm not able to play this weekend as I have guests coming in to town, but please keep posting your Boston-area events and I'd love to come. Thanks!
