Is there a spreadsheet for what flip maps are in what society adventures?
I just bought the theater flip map. Love it. And would be happy to add another adventure that uses it.

Corrections:
PFS#26 Paizo's "Campsites" Map Pack suggested
PFS#34 River Crossing flip mat suggested
If anyone else spots errors/omissions please speak up. Perhaps Yoda could add this to the Pathfinder Wiki?
I always prefer to draw my maps ahead of time rather than adapt a flip mat to the scenario. I understand the utility of a flip mat for GMs who don't have the resources or time to draw maps. They certainly beat a bunch of scrawl on a Chessex map. But sometimes they don't quite capture what was described in the boxed text.
I know it's a lot of work to custom design maps for each scenario, but I hope Paizo will continue to put the work into PFS that has gone into the Adventure Paths and other printed products. I did consider writing a submission for PFS called "The Sell Out" including/plugging every Game Mastery product Paizo sells. Not sure if everyone appreciates my sense of humor...

#34 suggests the use of both Woodlands and River Crossing.
Like Doug, I agree that flip-mats work well for a time-pressed GM, but using them to design encounters really limits the possiblities of those encounters.

On the other hand, playing more than once on the same terrain allows players to try different strategies that are informed by their previous experience. I'm always DM'ing, but if I could play I might like to try a couple different encounters on "Woodlands" for instance, to try different approaches to the terrain.
Thanks for starting this thread. One of my players asked if there was any comprehensive list like this just recently.

.....
As an old school, classic Battletech player, that brings back memories of "Generic map!" The one 'base' map that seemed to be on every planet, everywhere, because everyone had at least one copy of it. After years of playing, when on that mat you no longer had to measure just about anything, whether distances or terrain angles.....it became that well known. Well, at least to us math/gaming geeks...but really, who else played Classic Battletech :)?

When a Flip-Mat or Map Pack shows up in a scenario, it's not really a "suggestion" especially when we use the actual map. :-)

But it's not a requirement either ;) I own five flip mats and have 5 different ongoing subscriptions to Paizo products so I don't feel disloyal if I choose to draw out a map ahead of time when I GM.
I think the City Market in PFS#14 The Many Fortunes of Grandmaster Torch is a perfect example.
If I can draw out a map that resembles a Qadiran marketplace and accounts for the scale of combat that is going to take place there, I think it's a better experience for the players in the end. I think the flip mats are a great product (they certainly beat the hell out of Dungeon Tiles) but you know I am a map snob.

Well, yes, I certainly don't expect everyone to buy the Flip-Mats we use in the scenarios. :-)

We've discussed it, but think it might open a pandora's box we don't want to deal with. If we include this, why not also include the Pathfinder minis line and suggestions of what to use in what adventures, etc. It's hard enough keeping up with setting canon, that adding in non-canon support like this could get out of hand. It might be a good thing for dragnmoon's PFS site or one of the other Pathfinder databases, though.
