Two questions came up in my game last night.
1. Can a player expend a PA point to add a +4 to their stabilization attempt roll (+4 to a skill check)?
2. When a bad guy gets away with some of the treasure, how does this effect the total money earned. I ran scenario #10 last night, and after nuking the party with all of his spells, Niccum fled the manse. Since he denied the party his treasure, it should affect the total money earned. Am I correct that all treasure value is determined by dividing the money earned for selling the item at 1/2 price by 6? Also, if this is true, how do I value out the spellbook he had?

1. A stabilization roll is now an ability (Constitution) check, so the answer's no I'm afraid. It was a good thought though. I hadn't heard anyone ask that before.
2. You have got some math to do. Total up the value of Niccum's gear and subtract it from the reward. I wouldn't worry about the spellbook because Rale had a spellbook too and as far as I can tell neither were factored into the gold reward. All you are subtracting is Niccum's gear for whatever tier they played at. Also, cross off the scrolls for the spells that Niccum had but Rale did not, like the fireball. Your treasure value formula is correct.
