I was wondering what conventions was pazio planning to be at next year and hosting Interactives.

I personally would love to see you all at Dragoncon.

I imagine PaizoCon and GenCon will both have interactives. NeonCon is going to have one next month, so they might replicate that the following year. There might be one at Origins.

Speaking of conventions, is there a specific messageboard or something around here that is just for the posting about upcoming conventions?

What we need to do in the next six months is solidify our "interactive" policy and decide, with regard to PFS, just what one is. We've had three--and all three have been vastly different.

We'll be at PaizoCon and Gen Con for sure. What we have planned for events there is unclear beyond scenarios. I will likely be at Origins and that will most likely just be scenarios, though I might use that show to dry run an idea I have for Gen Con. Erik and I will also likely be at Dragon*Con, but we're there to investigate the show and determine if it's a good commitment for Paizo--I'll also be around to help our PFS guy down there with questions and possibly a surprise slot or something.

Sure that is why you are going to Dragon*Con... I am sure it has nothing to do with the costumes...*NSFW* ;-)

GenCon was great... But I have to say, I still enjoyed Dragon*Con More :-)

It's held over Labor Day weekend.

Actually, unless they have finally picked just one, it is held variably. Labor Day weekend is one of the choices, but it has been held earlier in the summer as well. Check out their site for the dates of the next one to be safe.

I will have to agree. Been to both, but Dragoncon is just amazing because of the costumes, after hours parties, celebrities ON TOP OF the gaming!!!

If I could only attend one of the two I would go to Dragoncon without a second thought.

They also have a parade through Atlanta with everyone in Costume.. that is something you can not miss!

Don't forget the Filk! (For those of you unaware, Filk=Music from the science fiction/fantasy/SCA/Gaming fandom.....some of its amazing, and DragonCon attracts some of the big names)
