I would like to create a flyer to advertise Pathfinder Society games which are free to the public being played at a local library. I would like to use the Pathfinder Society logo on the flyer. What legal text do I need to include on the flyer in order to use the Pathfinder Society logo?

Secondly, I am part of a planning committee to host a small RPG Convention and we would like to use Pathfinder Society modules. The convention will charge an entry fee to cover the cost of the facility rental. Under the community use policy, can we still use the Pathfinder Society logo if we comply with providing the correct legal text on the flyers, posters, and advertising materials?

I can answer that one: The Pathfinder Society logo is available as part of the Community Use Package, so you'll need to follow the usage requirements from the Community Use Policy page.

Because this is a commercial use, the Community Use Policy isn't applicable, so this one's a question for Josh, not me. I've moved this to the Pathfinder Society forum so he can find it.

So long as the Pathfinder Society logo is being used to promote instances of actual game play, I'm okay with it being used for a show that charges admission. Gen Con, PaizoCon, NeonCon, etc are all examples of shows that charge admission but then can use the logo to promote Pathfinder Society play.

Thanks for this common sense approach. Going to all preperations of what is necessary to be a GM - and I mean especially at a smaller CON - you wouldn't want to get into trouble just because you show up with a selfmade banner.

And no - I wouldn't want to either generate additional e-mail and paperwork to be allowed either.
