If a player finds a, say, potion of cure light wounds during a mission, can he use it for free or does he need to pay the appropriate cost?
The rules say that anything found can be used by a player, but to keep it after the mission they must pay the appropriate cost once the mission is over. Does this to apply to consumables? I seem to recall seeing something mentioning this on the boards at one time, but cannot find it anymore.
Say someone has a cure light wounds potion on them. You can use it during the mod without cost. That item can still be purchased from the chronicle (as many times as you like unless there's a limit on it).
The only way you're not getting access to the item on a chronicle is if you miss it completely (skip an encounter), or for some reason lose it (broken, traded, stolen).

So if someone kills a mook and he has a potion of cure light, the player can use it within the mission without a cost, but if he wishes to keep it (for whatever reason) after the mission, he needs to pay for it as if he just bought one?
Makes sense to me. Anyone else think differently or agree?
In addition, just to clarify, if an enemy has a potion of blur and you find it, you can drink it for free during the adventure, and everyone in the party can buy one at the end.
