Betrayal in Absalom Thanks You!

To everyone who played in and help run this even at this years Gen Con.

My most sincere thanks for your eagerness, willingness, support, and forgiveness in helping us get an extremely ambitious interactive off the ground, and by Saturday.. flying.

This was my first big event, and I cannot thank everyone enough for chiming in with feedback and input, as well as the work wonderfully talented GMs who put so much extra effort into making sure some of our early mistakes were caught and corrected. Also, much thanks to all the players who weathered through Friday nights game rough start and offered advice and assistance to make Saturday's event so stellar. I appreciate everyone good faith and support.

With everyone's support, it increases the likelihood of more of these types of ambitious and unique events, as well as the experience writers, organizers and GMs need to make them run more effectively.

Oh and for those teams that gained the extra boon Defender of Absalom-
It provides +2 on all future Diplomacy checks in Absalom.

Again,
my most sincere thanks!

Tim Hitchcock

Tim you and co conspirators pulled off an amazing job !!

It was a blast just to watch the semi controlled chaos of the game and observe the interaction between *EVERYONE*.

Spoiler:
since I just wrapped up a WWII game wth my dad I'll borrow from that parlance; you and your crew were channeling the improvisational genius of a Rommel that counterbalanced the elegance of a measured and calculated Josh Frost's manner which is more like the battlefield maestro von Rundstedt (in other words you two make a good team).

I hope the success of this past event opens up even more of this type of 'organized play'.

Hopefully some easter eggs and hints of the next interactives can be placed within some of the PFS scenarios leading up to the next event; something cool to tie in groups of mods.

Cheers to you, Josh and all the rest that made the events a smashing success !!

And next Con, Cry Havoc and Let Lose the Contributors !!

As both a player (Fri) and GM (Sat) for this event I had a blast!!!

The concept was excellent and Saturday Night's finally was kewel as heck to watch.

I'm glad I got the chance to run a site encounter at the last minute due to a missing GM. I really enjoyed running the sorcerer encounter. Focusing on a 15-20 min encounter was very unique. Especially when the fire alarm forced everyone out of the building in the middle of one of the sessions. Nary a beat was missed as the group stood in a circle outside the doors and continued unabashed. A true sign of a good concept and adventure is when the players refuse to give up under such conditions.

A special thanks to Noel whom encouraged me to play Betrayal Friday night at the last minute. I went to Gen Con with the primary focus to be a GM. I had really overlooked the player option.

I am looking forward to participating in more Society events as GM, player, and contributor.

Thank for the opportunity!!

Thank you so much for rocking it out.

I know of two people who helped with that site encounter on Saturday night due to GMs I killed (or no-showed, whatever, they're dead to me.) I'm not sure which one you are, but thank you so much for rising to the occasion and working with the others to make that encounter exceptional. Thank you for having the gusto to keep going through a evacuation of the convention center and making the night memorable for the players and the rest of us volunteers and organizers. That night was truly a memorable experience!

For what it's worth:

I think I was the last to switch to the Sorcerer Encounter, and sent one group back to Tim or Adam because they believed believed the Sorcerer's initial brush-off.

I am also known as Michael.

Looking forward to working with you all again :)
