Are you saying that the shadowdancer abilities are affected by caster lvl? I'd definitely say not, unfortunately. Otherwise why wouldn't it affect every other class ability?
Caster lvl affects level dependant variables in spell descriptions, along with overcoming SR. That's it, i'm pretty sure.
Shadow Illusion (Sp): When a shadowdancer reaches 3rd level, she can create visual illusions. This ability functions as silent image, using the shadowdancer's level as the caster level.

You have three different abilities that all state you have some sort of caster level. However you may be correct.
I don't see it as saying you have a caster level...after all, you can't cast spells, just use three spell-like abilities that emulate specific spells (and therefore need an effective caster level).
However, whether it would be unbalancing to allow it to work like you suggest, I don't know.
At least in 3.5, it was fairly clear that SLA gave you a caster level. Complete Arcane was clear that Warlocks qualified for some prestige classes that required "caster level X" but not for prestige classes that required "ability to cast Nth level spells".

Agreed. If the ability functions with "caster levels" according to the class, then there's nothing wrong with the trait allowing a higher "caster level," IMHO.

it mentally. Armor never affects a spell-like ability’s use, even if the ability resembles an arcane spell with a somatic component.
A spell-like ability has a casting time of 1 standard action unless noted otherwise in the ability or spell description. In all other ways, a spell-like ability functions just like a spell.
