I encountered this during a game last night. I was in the area effect of a silence spell and I wanted to pronounce judgement on my foes. The GM ruled that I could not do so until I was out of the spell’s zone.
That made sense to me – but a couple of questions popped up...to pronounce judgement on your foes...
1) Does the Inquisitor need to even say it aloud?
2) Does his foes need to actually hear the judgement? (The GM ruled no.)
3) Does his foe need to understand the judgement? (Language, etc.)
I would say no to all three – but the GM disagreed with me #1 – and I see his point. I’m just throwing it out there for discussion.
As far as I know, nope ya don't have to say anything, ya can but you do not have to. It's more that you have corrosion to judge this critter not that you have to inform it of that, must like a paladin or a caviler do not have to inform the folks they go after..often they do but it's not a have to
No I just reread it, no where does it state you must be able to speak, the foe must hear it or can understand it.
By RAW your GM is incorrect. I think he is reading to much into the word pronounce. He is seeing it as talking and that is not the meaning they are useing
