How many ounces in a single purchase of stone salve? RSS

How many ounces (that is, uses) are there in a single purchase of stone salve?

That depends on how much you spend. It's 4000 gp per ounce.

But it doesn't say how many ounces it comes with. Where are you getting that it is 4,000gp an ounce?

If it was a one use item, why bother saying one ounce does X?

Cause you might have a container with more than one ounce in it -- doesn't mean you will but you could.

Aura strong abjuration and transmutation; CL 13th

Slot —; Price 4,000 gp per ounce; Weight —
DESCRIPTION

This ointment has two uses. If an ounce of it is applied to the flesh of a petrified creature, it returns the creature to flesh as the stone to flesh spell. If an ounce of it is applied to the flesh of a nonpetrified creature, it protects the creature as a stoneskin spell.
CONSTRUCTION

Requirements Craft Wondrous Item, stone to flesh, stoneskin; Cost 2,000 gp

There you go.

That's weird. My copy just says 4,000gp. The SRD says differently, however. Most unusual.
