Do clerics bybass arcane spell failure from armour?

Title sums it up -- since a cleric casts divine magic, not arcane, does their casting bypass they type of armour they wear?

I'm rolling a 3rd level cleric as an NPC for our next session.

Thanks!

Arcane spell failure only applies to spells cast by an arcane class. A cleric never has to worry about arcane spell failure for any cleric spell they cast. This even applies to wizard/sorcerer spells they gain from domains, they are still considered 'divine' for that cleric.

Having said that, if you multiclass as a cleric/sorcerer, your sorcerer spells would be affected by the arcane spell failure of their armor, but not their cleric spells.

That's what I thought. Thanks!

Yes, ASF only applies to Arcane Spells cast by Arcane classes that have ASF. Some Arcane classes don't have ASF and others modify it.
