Let me rephrase that by just asking this. In the Pathfinder RPG does a creature with the special ability Blindsight need line of effect just like the special ability Blindsense. Page 561
So I guess Paizo accidentally left out the clarification on Blindsight? The reason I asked is because I was wondering if a burrowing character could now use Blindsight instead of Tremorsense. Hey nice character sheets! If you don't mind how do you make your Tables for a custom class? Is there any online like these that you can fill in for a martial adept class ?
I'm not so convinced, do you have a rules quote for that?
It is my reading of the rules that Blindsight requires line of sight.
Here's a logical defense for my question.
From the SRD. "Some creatures have blindsight, the extraordinary ability to use a nonvisual sense (or a combination of such senses) to operate effectively without vision. Such sense may include sensitivity to vibrations, acute scent, keen hearing, or echolocation. This ability makes invisibility and concealment (even magical darkness) irrelevant to the creature (though it still can’t see ethereal creatures and must have line of effect to a creature or object to discern that creature or object). This ability operates out to a range specified in the creature description."

Notice they left something out? Hmm what could it be? Maybe it was this line. "and must have line of effect to a creature or object to discern that creature or object" Now why would they do that?
1. It was a mistake.
OR
2. Blindsight doesn't need line of effect anymore, like Tremorsense never did in 3.5! In the description of Blindsight it says "Such senses may include sensitivity to vibrations" Monster Manual 3.5 Tremorsense says "A creature with tremorsense is sensitive to vibrations in the ground and can automatically pinpoint the location of anything that is in contact with the ground."
Wait did that just say sensitive to vibrations? Damn it did! So at the very least you could use it like Tremorsense, say if your using burrow! This doesn't make using Tremorsense useless, it just makes it a lesser ability like Blindsense.
I was referring to a table for a custom martial adept class. Like this table. http://www.neceros.com/files/Spellblade%20Revised.rtf
I don't quite understand your request. I designed that document, but I did it all from scratch.
I'm thinking about making my own class, but I would like to make it look professional with a table like they use for classes in the D&D and Pathfinder books. I've tried to copy and paste class tables from various sources online into open office. It doesn't work.
So I saw you had a nice looking table for your custom class, and wondered how you did it. I was also wondering if I could find anywhere online where they had an empty table document you could fill in for your own custom class. I was hoping for one with the martial adept table out of Tome of Battle
