How does an adult or ancient blue dragon qualify to take the deadly stroke feat as they are written up in the bestiary? Deadly Stroke requires greater weapon focus, which requires one to be an 8th level fighter. Dragons have neither. Have I missed a rule somewhere which exempts dragons from this prerequisite?

Deadly Stroke doesn't require you to be an 8th Level Fighter. You just have to have a BAB of +11, Greater Weapon Focus, and Shatter Defences. All of which the Dragon has in its stat block. Anyone who meets the prereqs can take the feat. And technically an 8th Level Fighter can't take it. Since his BAB would only be +8/+3. He'd have to take it at 11th Level, assuming he met the other prereqs.
Correct, and GWF is also not on the blue dragon's feat list.
Sorry, Sir George. I misread your post. I merely thought you meant the dragon had to have fighter levels. But yeah, WTH. I'm with Umbral Reaver. I'd let the dragon have it anyway.
