0.o

This is amazing on oh so many levels, from anime-meets-Pathfinder to mix of intentional humor and some truly wonderful unintended Engrish.

Two thumbs up,

That was just ridiculous haha

I enjoyed the laugh although I feel I was on the brink of seizures

Well Gee! This was swell! I admit some confusion as to what was going on...but heck, it sure looked fun. I think I need to see more.

Greg (wasgreg)

That was some strange kind of incredisome.
On reflection, I may need to watch that again.

Awesome!!

+1

But first I must sew my sides together.

Having run two RQ3 campaigns in Griffin Island, all I can say is that was certainly different

Shadow Lodge (Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales Subscriber)

I don't understand what the hell just happened, but it was pretty damn hilarious, whatever it was.

Hi,thanks for many comment for our movie.

In fact, We played only 2 session on this campagin.
We are now arrived at soldier port(Griffin Island Entrance) only.

In the old days, I think I could.. I am out of practice, so now I had to hit pause a few times.

Is it just me or is Pathfinder something of a hit in Japan ? I've heard and seen signs pointing to non-existence of 4e in JPN and a major rise of PF popularity.

Wow this is hillarious. It's a little difficult to read between the spelling and the secondary-english, and I had to pause it a lot, but I've been cracking up the whole time.

Rizel = win.

That and the epic music.

After watching that, I had to wonder if someone slipped me a acid tablet.

If you do more, slow down how fast the text disappears makes it hard to read to try and follow what was going on with how fast it flashes by. :)

You know... now I'm strongly considering doing something similar with an upcoming campaign of mine. Take an adventure or two (depending on how connected they might be plot-wise), get some images for various things, and put together a solid 5 minute 'overview' set to some badass music.

Gorbacz wrote:

Hi Gorbacz san

sorry. I'm not understand your words perfectry.

In japan In past days, 3.x editon is published by Hobby Japan, and it becomes major RPG.
Then it has been discontinued by publishing 4e.

Many of us loves 3e not 4e.
But it was gone.

We feel 4e is too tactical and battle main focused.

But but but...., We found Pathfinder!
It feel very good!

But, most of us are can't understand english.
There was one man named Uichiro Ishikawa.
He found one idea to transrate PRD by wiki.
He called all Japanese 3e fun by Internet.

One year past.
Core Rule's transrate is finished.

We can play Pathfinder by his and his suporter's achievements.

Ishikawa's web site.

WE HOPE OFFICIAL JAPANESE EDITION OF PATHFINDER!!!

Thanks for your advice.

This is a trailer.
Therefore, it uses it for one dialog only for a few seconds.

Tens of seconds per dialog are spent in main CHAPTERS.
please do not worry.

thanks.

Haha, a lot of people in the English speaking world also feel this way.:)

Oh, just imagine how many rules disputes would come up as a result of a fan translation of these already complex rules into another language.

That was strange... and awesome... and I have a strange compulsion to watch it again...

I'm glad Pathfinder is catching on in Japan. I think my Japanese-media-obsessed friend will be glad, too. I suppose it's too much to hope for a Pathfinder anime series...

Yucale wrote:

That would be my guess. HOWEVER, there 'may' be some small reasonable hope for a Pathfinder cartoon (or at least animated film) at some point in the future, and the PF art style has some anime characteristics.

And much rather it be made as foreign film, actually. Gaming films, or similar, seem to be much better when not made in America.

My country has such an abysmal record when it comes to D&D movies.

Except Paizo would never authorize such a film unless they had specific people making damned sure it was as good as humanly possible.

Paizo no forumu e yookoso.

I liked the movie; campaign logs are always interesting to read and, in this case, watch.

Wow.

A lot of sexual references there! I've had some pretty wild gaming sessions, but none like that.

I DON'T AFRAID THE ATTACK OF OPPORTUNITY.

That... was... AWESOME!!!

Don't look my p^$$y! I would totally go back to a cat-girl's house and make sexual party... nya...

Also, anything with Megumi is automatically epic. Looks like a fun campaign. Keep up the good work.

There is no "L" sound in Japanese. Furthermore, depending upon what system of romanization is used, the kana that equate to ra, re, ri, ro, and ru may be written as la, le, li, lo, and lu. So, when a Japanese person that isn't strong with English reads an English word that was spelled using kana and then tries to translate it by guessing or using software, then we should be surprised any of it is even decipherable.

La, li, lu, le, lo... THE PATRIOTS! SNAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!

That was awesome! The music was pure Japanese anime type goodness, and I loved the way the dialogue was done old-school video game style! Please excuse me now, I have to go delete the wiki for my campaign which I thought was pretty cool before I saw this video.

Hi.

I completed to upload part1 of CHAPTER1.

Pathfinder RPG Replay Movie Griffin Island Campagin Chapter1 Part1 Introduction of characters

This part is almost introduction of characters.
So this is a little obedient.
It will become confused next time. It will break.

Looking forward to next part that adventure begin.

The illustration of characters drawn by players.
Sacha, Rizel, and Anastasia was drawn by Rizel's player.
Hilda and Larvi was draw by themselves.
Orlin was drawn by Hilda's player.
Which character do you like?

Please see movie and comment here.

We love Pathfinder RPG in the far east.

thanks.

I thought it was pretty decent (Part 1 introduction).
The 1st movie, Intro/announcement, was very weird though.

So what was the Oracle's Curse, I missed that part?

Rizel is Hentai girl? lol. Shapeshifter makes sense than.
Wiz is built pretty good (good spells chosen I think).

I like the cast of characters (though the hentai girl seems strange).
One question: why does the GM have different colored eyes?
