i was wondering if it were possible for a wizard to increase the number of cantrips they can prepare each day, from what's given on the wizard's spells per day table. they don't get extra cantrips for a high intelligence, nor for specialization. are they stuck with at most 4 cantrips that can be prepared at once, or are there other ways to increase this number? (it occurs to me that a wizard could use a higher level slot to prepare a cantrip, but then i'm not sure if it would be treated like the regular slot or if it would be at-will like other cantrips.)
I would agree with KaeYoss. Heck if you read over what Cantrips *are* the ability to cast them at will is a part of the function of the spells itself not the 0 level slot they "occupy".
