My delivery estimate is still 4th-9th September from amazon uk, so i'll see it first in pdf. Damn you gloaters!
Except for Wicht, obviously.
** spoiler omitted **
Amazon.de still says August 19. So either something is wrong with one or more of these dates or the .de guys just know exactly which loved one/pet of which postal official/distributor/president to abduct to get their stuff on time.
My bet is the abduction thing. From all I've seen, they really care about our customers.
It's kinda like having Lex Luthor as your customer service guy or something.

Or Amazon.de doesn't update their dates. They still say that the Bestiary will be out on september 1.
Alhough I'd certainly prefer those dates to be correct.
The french Amazon also has the 19th of august as a date, but their price is about as high as the one from dragonworld.
I feel bad for Lisa. The Post Office pulled a "Scotty" on them and provided an estimate longer than their actual ability. Probably because they didn't want to get in trouble or yelled at.
I just have a bit of news to deliver. My August subscription arrived today with the Core book. When looking at the "My Account" screen it showed the order as "Shipping". I would suggest to all that if your account shows it is shipping there is a distinct possibility that it is already enroute.
Just my 2 cp.
EDIT" As a matter of fact it still shows as shipping.
EDIT #2: BTW I am in Houston, TX, USA.

I'll second this. Don't put too much faith in the order status. Got mine today too, and I still show shipping.
I'm in DE and I noticed over the weekend people in NJ and PA got their stuff on Saturday, so I kind of hoped to get mine today, and I did.
For those in the UK who might not be able to get the book from Amazon.uk, there are others who also sell it at around the same price, including free shipping.
At iguk.co.uk it's £31.49.
At thehut.com it's £26.93! That's even cheaper than Amazon!
Just a note on Why it's there. Last Thursday we're at the office late - like 10:00 late - finishing up the dark ones' cave in James's Sandpoint game, when Jeff, Cosmo, Vic, and Lisa come on up. They'd been in the warehouse all evening packing boxes of the PFRPG. And then turned around the next day and joined Jeff S., Alison, and Brock the next day to do it some more! So yeah, there's a pretty good chance that if you have your now, it was packed by the owners/managers of the company way past their bedtimes. Just throwing that out there! It's really exciting that folks are getting this now - somehow that helps make the last months of work all real.
This is why Paizo is way better than Wotc and why I am sorry I had to cancel my subscription. I hope to be able to get it later with school loans.
And worse yet, my Amazon page says the 3 copies I ordered from them for my players will ship in OCTOBER....
What country is that. I just checked my order and estimate is 4th to 8th of October (UK). I did order a little bit over a month ago - so hope I'm in early enough to get a book.
Just a shame the PDF will become online too late. I'm going on holiday with no internet connection in the first week and a dial up the week after at my parents place.
Just a day earlier and I could have got it on a memory stick to take with me ...
I came home to find a large brown box waiting for me with a Paizo golem on the shipping label and knew my prize had finally arrived. Sure enough, I now have in my hands 576 pages of gaming goodness in the form of the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook as well as a freshly-minted copy of the first installment in the Council of Thieves adventure path, "The Bastards of Erebus." Needless to say, I am...quite pleased.
My thanks to the hard-working folks in the warehouse...as well as Jason and company who put so many hours into the design of said tome. I'm currently doing arm curls with it so I can workout prior to GenCon. And, obviously, I'll be bringing it with me for autographs...even if I have to track every last one o' ya down. ;-)

Curses!
I've been bugging my girlfriend to try and keep an eye out for it. She said there was a 'sorry we missed you, its at the post office' type of note in the mailbox. I am in the office through all the hours the post office is open and have a 40+ minute commute, so that means either I have to wait til saturday, or I am taking an extra long lunch. Well I guess the choice is clear.

I've been waiting for this day for a long time! It's here! And my reaction was on-par with the day I picked up City by the Spire: very amazed! It's quite a book! My sincere thanks and gratitude to the Paizo staff for making it happen!

Mine arrived today! While substantial, it doesn't feel as heavy as I would have expected. That's a good thing - it won't weigh down my milk crate of games so much.

I was in the house, back in the kitchen when I heard a considerable "thunk" on the front porch. I broke conversation mid-sentence and rushed outside to see a big brown box smiling up at me.
Thanks guys!
Spoiler:
Although eager, I haven't tried to open it yet. I think it is a mimic.
Has anyone heard from Lisa and the rest of the Paizo crew? Did they survive the weekend?
Cheers
We survived the weekend, but it was back down to the dungeon today. The end is in sight. I believe that there is a good chance that all the books will be out the door tomorrow, as scheduled. It hasn't been fun or easy, but at least it is almost done.

Oooh! Peanuts and foam to keep my books safe! THANKS!!!!
Don't take any unnecessary risks, Daigle. Just send that box up to me and I'll run a series of tests on it first, for safety's sake.
I handed the potential beast a note with your address and a picture of you, and prodded it northward.
I keep checking it, but the thing hasn't moved yet. I heard mimics prefer to travel at night. Perhaps by tomorrow it will be at your door ready to kil....er, make you brownies.

I, for one, was super surprised to get it this weekend. And it was packed very, very well. In fact, it fit perfectly, like a glove, in that box.
Lisa, I thank you and your awesome staff for all your hard work and efforts. It is very much appreciated!
I was gone over the weekend and didn't think to check the mailbox on Sunday evening. Needless to say, I checked it when I got home from work today. I almost let out an audible "SQUEEEE" on my way back from the mailbox -- in 30+ years of gaming I don't recall waiting so expectantly for any item.
I got mine this afternoon, when i came back from a nice lunch with my wife.
The package was nicely waiting for me at the door.
I was pleasantly surprised as i was not expecting it before friday or even next week.
Tomorrow is my birthday and i got my Pathfinder.
I'm happy :D

Mine arrived today! Denver CO. Good news, time to stay up late reading.
Book arrived Baton Rouge, LA today via post office. Found it waiting on the doorstep after work. Sounds like the book has been arriving early for most of the continental US. Any sign yet for anyone in the Great White North? Overseas perhaps? Keeping my fingers crossed for y'all!

Mine arrived around noon. It was well packed and there were no issues with anything. ~grimaces~ Except for the ...and Cosmo Rulez!!! written all over the book and on the inside and on random pages. ~GRINS~ j/k! Cosmo did not do that. But the book is in great shape! Thanks again for doing such an awesome packing job everyone!
So Denver, New York, Baton Rouge, and San Diego all got theirs today and Utah didn't? Somebody has a lot of explaining to do. Make a diplomacy check. Maybe a knowledge (geography) check too.

I'd send my father in law to come down to your house and get your book, but mine will get here sooner then it would take to send it from Charleston. ;) Besides, he'd most likely sell it at the flea market.
