I don't know if Paizo's planning some wondrous profitable venture with a traits catalog in the future, but for now, I'm simply curious to see whether Paizo's interested in building on its current traits freebie?

Personally, I'd love to see the inventory of options grow.

Most Pathfinder Companions contain additional Traits, as does the Council of Thieves Player's Guide.

Right. And I have those. I was just hoping that we'd see some sort of compendium.

Not really... the core mechanic for traits, with the 40 basic traits, is already pretty strong. As mentioned upthread, we do keep expanding the traits with every Companion—expanding the core free intro to them would only make the intro less of an intro and more cumbersome.

Traits are likely to get rolled into either the Advanced Player's Guide or the Gamemastery Guide, though, but probably in a more condensed form than even what exists now in the free document online.

If you're just looking for a compendium of all the traits, my Pathfinder Character Excelerator spreadsheet has them all...

I'd love to see them in one of those books you mentioned James, especially if it was expanded rather than condensed!

A Companion book of traits with specific traits for each race, class, region, religion, organization ... that would be great !

Nice work done! I do have a question. In languages, you include "Polyglot". Is that Golarion's version of common?

Thanks! I'm enjoying the process of creation, and it helps me really dig into the rules and understand them better...

As for Polyglot, it's actually "a pidgin formed from hundreds of tribal languages and dialects" used by the Mwangi (page 28 of the PFCS).
