I would buy it because it would probably not have any major printing/paging errors like my disappointing purchase of the English core book that I'm stuck with.

I'm a sucker for a scam, my players can share my regular copy while i enjoy my deluxe edition. I have the mutants and masterminds deluxe edition and it simultaneously sweet and also tight.
I know for a fact I'd buy it. Pass on my initial core rule book to a player or somebody else who needs it (or maybe just keep it for player reference at the table) while I hold onto the precious :D
(Seriously, I've handled the delux 3.5 DMG before and if I didn't hate WotC's public policy to the point I refused to purchase their crap I'd have bought it in a heartbeat then and there. And unlike WotC, paizo people are awesome)
Too rich for my blood, leather bound is really cool, but not practical.
Plus, I still have a Bestiary to buy, not to mention any and all of the goodness that will be Pathfinder splat books.

If a deluxe edition includes something extra like bookmarks sewn in the binding or tabbed chapter pages, then I'd probably pick it up. If it's just cosmetic changes, like a fancy cover and gold-edged pages, I'm much less likely to spend the extra cash.

Actually they did announce some bookmarks added in the book.
I would almost certainly buy this. Would be a nice addition to my gaming bookshelf. Though I need to buy a bigger bookshelf as its getting pretty full.

Yeah, I'd want them to go whole hog, not cheap facade.

Pathfinder is all new and shiny right now, but it will be replaced with PF2 in around 8-10 years so what's the point?
Well, for starters, 8-10 years is a pretty hefty chunk of time.
Secondly, I'm not sure there will be a PF2, an update to the rules at some point I'm sure, perhaps a PF+ or whatnot, but remember.
Pathfinder was designed to support Paizo's adventure paths, it wasn't designed as a primary investment for the company. Are they making money off it? Yup. Should they? Oh heck yeah, they're the only gaming company I'm willing to buy fantasy material from so far (though there are a few other companies I've considered.) But their goal is a system to design AP's and other stuff for, they don't need to keep reinventing the wheel every few years the way WotC does, because their system's revenue isn't based on splatbooks and rules development, but adventures and such.

Paizo is going to continue making Companion, Chronicles, Adventure Paths, Modules and the like, for sure.
The higher earners however, will be the Core Rulebook, Advanced Players Guide [1, 2, 3] Bestiary [1, 2 ,3], Splat books and eventually PF2... watch this space!
Question for the Paizo staff: Will we ever see a similar product in English from Paizo?
Question for the fans: If such a collector product was made available, would you purchase it?
I would buy it... Would prefer hard leather, metal corner points, metal re-enforced binding with gilt page edges and several assorted color book-mark ribbons. Something very much like a nice spell book... But I would settle for leather and gilt page edges.

I'd buy it, but I'd think it would sell better in a couple years. I'd be far more interested when I've put some wear (but hopefully not tear!) on my current copy.
I'm curious - does the French written language economize considerably over English? Only 500 pages?
However, errata would be a must... so perhaps several years down the line when the game has had time to age.
It'd be sweet if it also included the Bestiary. One massive TOME. With the option of it being a paizo staff signed copy. True collectors material.
Two words for the bolded part (though the staff signed part would rock too) HELL YEAH!!!
All the errata, with the whole shebang in a single book. What more could I want? Granted it would cost a bit over 100 bucks, but I'd deffinitely be down for it.
I would buy it, with or without errata. I would even pay the 40 bucks for postage to Germany!

I guess I could finally get ribbons then. Three should do.
hehe
No. Really, I consider the final Pathfinder RPG book to have all the quality I need for years to come. Thanks for making it just right!

Nope, not at all. That must be an error. There is the same number of pages.

If you have a copy of PFRPG with flaws then you should get in touch with customer services.
Paizo have, in my experience, always been incredibly supportive of their customers in this regard.
Add my vote to the "HELL YEAH!!!!!" group. I have all 3 Deluxe versions of 3.5 in storage. I would go with either two volumes, the Core rule book and the Bestiary, or all in one. Either way I would sell whatever I had to to buy it. Anyone need a slightly used kidney?
Hmm... probably not. I did not indulge myself with the 3.5 deluxe books, but I bought the deluxe version of the Vampire:The Masquerade storytellers book, the one that came with a deluxe screen in a box. So, while I´m not immune to these luxury things, I´m not too keen on those, as I loathe using them - and if you don´t use them, what´s the point to a game book?
Provided it had the errata and was on quality paper - something that's going to still be around if I want to dig it out and teach the grandkids how to play a real man's "let's pretend".
Question for the fans: If such a collector product was made available, would you purchase it?
Nah, probably not.
I'm pretty rough on my books and I'd hate to see something that nice get destroyed.
I'm not much of a collector either, so I'll probably just stick to the more expendable version of the book.

As one who bought all three wotc special eds. and stored them, I am HEAVILY in the HELL YEAH category.
I am also in the real leather and bound paper/ guilded camp.
This would be a book to collect more than use , I think.
btw a RED cover would not only ROCK but can show how superior PFRPG is to 4th ed.
A game called Earthdawn did red covers and they were sweet.
In my opinion , 3.0/3.5 was heavily affectedby the Earthdawn game.
