I can't be the only one that liked the apprentice rules from the 3.0 DMG that weren't carried over to 3.5. Has anyone tried to convert them to Pathfinder?

The gain half-a-level for multiclassing right off the bat? Nope not alone there. Should work even better in Pathfinder then it did in 3.0. One of the major issues with such a practice no longer exists (which class gets x4 skill ). Other then that it seem rather straight forward. The only other difference may be the favored class mechanic, which if you declare one of your two classes you should get it at 1st but not at 2nd.

I used to have a conversion for this. But lost it in my hard drive corruption. I can remake the file from hard data I have if anyone would be interested.

I'd love to see it Seeker, I'm a big fan of these rules.

Favored class I figure would work just skills and hit points IMHO. If you're a fighter/wizard, and go with wizard for your level 1 hit points and skill points, but you choice fighter as your favored class, then you don't get the bonus until level 2. If on the other hand your favored is wizard, and you took the hit points and skill points of the wizard, then you get the bonus. It all depends on whether your "level 1 main" is the same as your favored.

I found expanded apprentice level rules for 3.5 a while ago. They are found here and might make a good starting point for conversions.
